Which players are good enough for top six?

I think they are all good enough apart from
Coulson
Lavery
Norburn
Carey
Connelly

Overall I think we have the players, just need the manager to step up.

I would go with good enough;
Grimmy
O’Donnell
Marv (in a back four)
Casey
Pennington
Husband
Gabriel
Lyons
Byres (should be, we will see)
Morgan
CJ (yes really, off the bench)
Dembele,
Rhodes
Joseph
Kouassi
Beesley

Not good enough:
Coulson
Lavery
Norburn
Carey
Connelly

We don't play in a back four and with this squad I think that is end of the story. Lavery as a target man seems a very strange coaching manual.
Effectively 5 at the back, midfield coming back because the centre half can not pass. Is it any wonder we look ponderous?

James Husband is ** awful and you haven’t included him??? He’s the main reason we concede possession constantly. Total donkey

Hubby in several games this season has been one of our most creative players, and doesn't make many mistakes defensively.
The way we play out from the back from Marv to one of the side backs, or to Norburn and then back, repeat a couple of times the punt forward, is a) really predictable and b) easy to defend.
To me the problem is Norburn who can't really do anything with ball other than pass back whence it came, and rarely gets into space to receive the ball anyway.

Think you are being very generous there. I think I'd add at least another six names to that list and even with what's left am not sure I'd be confident of Top six.

Gabriel
Ekipiteta
Dembele
Rhodes.
+maybe Morgan and we haven't seen enough of Byers just because he was good for one team doesn't mean he will be for us.

Slim pickings that's why when I constantly read on here this squad is good enough to be higher in the league is it really?

Based on being part of a promotion winning side and that Sheff Wed results were better when he played. Also he was a fans favourite.
If you think differently then say so!
Norburn was the main driving force after his injury last season of getting Peterborough into the play offs and winning the first leg he's been hot and cold.

Byers on paper looks a decent loan but football doesn't work like that.

Having watched Bpool since 1957 and played at a decent level I'm well aware of that.
Pboro don't appear to have unduly missed Norburn.

He is a decent player hampered by shit tactics. He isn’t hitting all those long balls to the likes of Lavery and Dembele out of choice. Seems pretty obvious from the way we play he is following instructions.
Convinced some of our fans have memories that only stretch back to the last 4 games. Husband has been one of our best and most consistent players this season.

Also, it's really interesting that when players underperform it's the manager's fault but I don't see any praise going his way for getting the best out of players like Rhodes, Dembele, Pennington, Morgan, Beesley etc
