We need a striker who's taller than Yates and who presses more than Madine
Got beat by a pub team though (allegedly)Ryan Hardie scored again on Saturday.
Personally I don’t think it matters as long as the right striker is brought in. Yates and Lavery are very similar so I’d probably lose one of them. Lavery seems to have lost his mojo and being the youngest could likely benefit from a loan in League 1Who goes out in order to bring this striker in?
Brother is a cod ST and says they can't be as bad as last seasonGot beat by a pub team though (allegedly)
To find out if he can nobble premier league keepers tooGerrard has said he is not going out on loan he wants him around the first team
Is that not Beesley? We need a striker who's taller than Yates and who presses more than Madine
Hopefully to prove themselves a capable Championship forward who can score plenty of goals even in an average team and therefore bag themselves a massive contract elsewhereIt may sound harsh, but in reality why would a decent striker want to play for the mighty ?
I don't think so to be honest, would prefer someone a bit more proven mateIs that not Beesley?
And scores and assists more than both of them!!We need a striker who's taller than Yates and who presses more than Madine
Why not !It may sound harsh, but in reality why would a decent striker want to play for the mighty ?
Could be a good shout as he should get better service [in theory !] , if you've got a goalscoring instinct I believe you can score in any of the EFL divisions.I'm surprised nobody has gone for Cole Stockton. Yes he's 28, but locally based, scored 23 goals last season in a struggling Morecambe side, and clearly knows where the back of the net is.
For the same reason a good centre half or a good winger would, presumablyIt may sound harsh, but in reality why would a decent striker want to play for the mighty ?
