Who has never actually lived in 'Blackpool'

I've never lived in Blackpool, but convalesced with my grandma getting over bronchitis and pneumonia when I was a nipper,
Still remember the elephants from the tower circus being exercised on the beach.
I got the buzz for the place then and now kids and grandkids all the same.
I’d give that a double like if I could!

I was in Blackpool for two weeks in 1994, and went to see the Wolves-game in the PL-season. Apart from that, I’ve not been to Blackpool. Still the club plays an instrumental part of my life. Being a groundjumper, I try to combine Blackpool FC with a new ground, hence not going back to Bloomers. I’ve watched Blackpool live for 39 games, corona preventing me to add to this number.
You may not be a regular Bergen but it’s great to have you on board

Why Blackpool BN and am l right you are Norwegian?
Met John Schofield, former owner of a company in Blackpool making soft drinks (NCP) and also a sponsor (think he paid the wages of Sinclair) while doing some practical work on the Norwegian Coastal Steamer back in 1992. Started to follow the results and being the manager om PC-games back then, and traveling since 2005.

I’ve never lived in Blackpool. Born and grew up in Leyland and have lived all over the place - Derby, Brighton, London (Chelsea, Muswell Hill, Fulham), Milan, Chicago, Surrey and full circle back to Leyland just this April. Nearly moved to Pool this time but needed to be nearer parents (reason for move). Hard to explain how excited I am about having a season ticket again, and relieved about not having to plan home games like a military campaign :)

Look after your parents 👍
Top tangerine lad🍊⚽👍👍

Born and bred St Annes....brief time in Staining with my first love....Subsequently Bielefeld/Celle/Brunssum....back to St Annes and on to Leeds and then High Wycombe.

Born in Wythenshawe, moved to Garstang and started following the 'pool when my dad took me to watch us play his hometown team of Oldham in 1976/77. Lived in the smoke where my 2 boys were born (both tangerine) and now live on the opposite coast to Blackpool in sunny South Shields. My first grandson was born and lives in Sunderland but is pure tangerine! (Unfortunately his brother who's due at Xmas will have to be a mackem in memory of his other grandad who passed away last year)

Born in Blackpool. Moved South in 1972. Moved to France in 2006 and spent 5 years there.
Didn't move back to Lancashire until 2013. Now Poulton.
I'm almost a bloody foreigner.🙄

Born in Aylesbury, Bucks and lived around that way for 30 odd years until moving to Birmingham 18 years ago. This is the closest I've ever lived to Blackpool - at least trips up are a bit shorter these days, if the M6 isn't too bad it's usually under 3 hours.

Good to see you on here Bergen. What sort of restrictions are in place in Norway now? Hopefully more relaxed conditions and bigger city clubs in the Championship means we’ll see you supporting the tangerine wizards this season. 👍🏻

Good to her from you, Straighters! All well? The top 3 leagues had full seasons in 2020, and so far in 2021. Two weeks ago we did the first and now second round of the cup, allowing level 4 players their first games sonve November 2010. Level 4 i starting up the leagues this week, and then lower leagues come next week-end. We are allowed to fill the stadiums too 1/3 or so, but the corona has picked up in recent weeks, so there might be restrictions coming up shortly.

Born in Blackpool, lived on Blackpool Road, Carleton, Poulton-le-fylde FY67QB till I was 20.

Beaverton, Oregon ever since. Though would give anything to be back, miss it every day.

Yes it is, got a friend that works there. It only houses longer term male youth offenders these days, and doesn't have the best reputation. I suspect it's probably not changed much since you were there!

Born and bred in Manchester and now live in York. Had family in Blackpool but more importantly many happy memories there. Became a Season Ticket holder 10 years ago as sick to death of the way the Premier League clubs treat their supporters, in my case Man United.

Lived there until I was 3 - no memories of the place but our football loyalties as a family have remained with the Seasiders. Would have cost me a lot less in petrol if we'd stayed there!

Born in Oldham before postcodes were invented.
Spent the rest of the time in FY5 with a break of a few years in PR26 (Leyland)

Technically never lived in Blackpool but a lot of years in the Fylde

Sorry, but anyone who is in an FY postcode is (should be) like a stick of rock- cut the top of their heads off and you'll find Blackpool Fc through and through.

You can cut my bollocks off too and you will find Blackpool FC through and through, but my point is FY8 is not Blackpool.

Technically no, but with regard to football it is. That's my point.
We therefore agree to a point, but there are sadly many Nobbers that walk amongst us in FY8.
Conversely, when I lived in PR4, I found it was more Tangerine than Lillyshite!
Enjoy the game tomorrow! 👍

I know. ** hate the bastards with their funny accent.

We need a Trump inspired 'BUILD THAT WALL, BUILD THAT WALL' and make 'LSA GREAT AGAIN' baseball hats.

Enjoy the game yourself.

Born in Glenroyd Hospital on Whitegate drive and still live in FY1, the Apple never falls far from the tree.
