After Saturday I’d say it’s not looking good, yes we got the points but Wigan were awful and we weren’t much better, having said that we do seem to up our game against better teams, WBA still having a chance to get to the playoffs so a win for us & with momentum we could do it, it’s going to be a nervy game, we win & the dream is on lose & they are probably going to get in the playoffs & we are as good as down, bowler as an impact sub for me due to his performance on Saturday, patino should definitely start again due to his performance on Saturday,

Tuesday is massive really, anything other than a win and it’s done for me.

As much as I enjoyed yesterday, I can’t help but feel it’s a little too late

Would feel as good as a promotion but just look at the remaining games. Our remaining home games are West Brom and Millwall both pushing for promotion then Birmingham and Norwich away and we need to win 3/4, i give us a 5% chance. Would take a complete transformation in nearly every aspect of our performance.

My heart says yes and my head says no. I'm afraid the last few 3-1 losses were the nail in the coffin. Two more injuries yesterday to add to the growing list. It has not been our season. 😪
I'm actually more confident because of those injuries. Husband has been a weak link for weeks, and Poveda plays totally for himself, not the team.

It's win or bust Tues night, we have to win. If we don't, I think we could actually be relegated on Saturday couldn't we? There are no more chances, we've run out of time and games. No more ifs and buts, it has to be three points.
As good as it was to give ourselves hope this weekend just gone, the performance was still poor and it's because of our midfield, which has been our main problem all season. There isn't a combination of our available ones that really works very well, so because of that I doubt we'll manage it. But it isn't impossible because even poor sides can produce randomly good results - Forest Green beating Sheff Weds the other week, Bournemouth going to Spurs and winning, us putting six past QPR. We'll need to be clinical, we'll need lady luck on our side, and we'll need great vocal backing if we're going to do it.

Yes, I agree. The West Brom match won't decide whether we'll stay up but it could more or less confirm that we're going down.

Sadly for everyone I quite fancy us tonight. Saturday was the foundations for a performance tonight which I think we'll see from the players. I don't think WBA are all that - up tempo start, keep them quiet and that early goal, then who knows.
Brum on Saturday is do-able - I think my problem then comes with the last two games .. be ironic if we got ourselves in a decent position and then blew it at the end.

This season has been fine margins, and Saturday for once, we were on the right side of it. WBA away was a last minute defeat that wasn't really deserved. We're due another win.

Agree with you that Brum would be a good time to get back to winning ways away.

As we came out from the ground on Saturday I said things would look different with 9 points in a week. I'm now believing my own nonsense 😉

I didn’t, but as we’ve had a win 🥹 and the stats still say we can survive, then we can survive.

Unfortunately I think my last bit of hope has just been drained , but hey ho I’ll be back for the last home game and I will be renewing my ST for next season #utmp

Most likely too late now. Stuck with Mad Mick for too long.
Win all 3 and you never know. That’s what we should be aiming for anyway.
