Who will score? 🙄

We're creating 2-3 decent chances per game and even though we've struggled to convert them the odds dictate that eventually one will go in. Seems likely to come from one of the wide men, Poveda or Corbeanu most likely. I think we'll win 1-0 tonight.

That now looks like a rhetoric question @Marcodan - I mean not as bad as PNE but still in the bottom 5 sides in this league for goals scored.

Jake is of course still an u18 and it appears the Academy has decided that is where he is going to get the majority of his game time for now.
I was surprised however that he wasn't at least in the squad last Tuesday as there wasn't a "full" bench so perhaps he's picked up a bit of an injury.

It's fair to say he hasn't been scoring as regularly (yet) this season but he's a selfless player and the other aspects of his game are progressing well enough.
 
The board took the gamble of not signing a goal scorer. The gamble appears to have failed and will cost us our place in the Championship!

I still haven't got a clue? Desperate measure to put Ekpiteta up front, good in the air, knows where the goal is, it's been done before with other teams, stick Madine as CB. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. All tongue in cheek of course.

Will make for an interesting question at the next forum (if anyone has the cahoonas to ask it) - was your summer transfer business utterly flawed and was it negligible to go in to the season with 3 out of form strikers and 1 injured one!
