Who'd be a football club owner...

Some of the shite written on here the last 24 hours I was going to say beggars belief, but then it doesn't really.
Talk of wanting money back on season tickets, 'dumbest' move yet by the owner, all a bit sad really.
By all means discuss and ask questions about signings, sales and strategy etc but try to do it without the juvenile hate. Players come and go, I'm quite sure Sadler and the club try to get the best deals incoming and outgoing and don't just give away players. And of course players want to move on to other clubs and to further their careers and wage packets.
Some people need to give themselves a shake.

No chance in hell would I be an owner. They can't do right for doing wrong. Set the club up to be sustainable, he has no ambition. Splash the cash to try and get us in the prem, this is sustainable and he's going to bankrupt the club. I dont agree with everything he's done, but I truly belive he has the clubs best interests at heart and we could be alot worse off

It's funny cos at one point last season Jerry was getting pelters off some on here cos he couldnt hit a barn door and now it's like we have sold prime Thierry Henry or something.
Personally I liked Jerry but having said that there are plenty out there for us to look at to give us a good goal return. This was always going to happen. There was 0 chance of us keeping him so now it's done early we can crack on to our next target.

This.
I said a few weeks ago on here that I wanted the Yates situation sorted out early so we could move on before the season starts. Most agreed with me.

Well said Junior, we are exceptionally fortunate to have such an owner.

United sold Ronaldo, Beckham
Spurs sold Bale
Liverpool sold Torres, Suarez… Keegan even!
City’s captain has gone on a free…

It’s bonkers. Have any of these critics ever actually looked at the books since SS took over? One thing is very clear. We used to have an owner who was paid £21mil for 1 season, the highest payment ever in the World’s richest league.

We now have one who’s net outlay is, within a few seasons only, millions… absolutely millions.

The common myth has it that you are never more than 6 feet away from a rat - more like 164 apparently.

In a similar vein, I have observed that we are never more than three threads away from a moron. Give or take a thread.
