That's what we will be saying to Pompey after the game next Saturday! I expect us to do a job on them. I think it has all been coming together over the last few weeks. That performance today has been brewing for a while now. Now we need to sustain it. I reckon we will. We have a stronger squad than we have had in a long while. Strap in and enjoy the ride, it's going to be a good one 👍.

I’m inclined to agree here - I think we’re in the ascendancy and although last weekend was a bad result, at no point did Bolton look any better than us. Not only that, as amazing as Pompey have been this season, they’ve had so many games where they’ve scraped through with a last minute goal and have ridden their luck on numerous occasions. I reckon they’re due a blip in results and we could be the instigators for that.

Dembele is the key. When he plays we have an attacking threat. He popped up everywhere today He created overloads in midfield when he dropped back and freed up so much space for others. I think that's why the midfield looked so good. Bowyer on the live feed was highlighting this...

We can match anyone. But Pompey away is significantly tougher than Salop at home, they are a struggling side with 4 points away from home.

Just said on another thread that they have drawn 2 of their last 3 league games and were beaten by Chesterfield in the FA Cup - have they had injuries?

Head says we'd be much more likely to beat Pompey at home than away. Gut says we are capable of going there and winning, if things fall our way. We have match winners. Rhodes, Dembele, Joseph. We have Marv getting back to form, and Kenny on top form.
