Why Critchley has lost the fans?

You may be right about the type of supporter on here ,but there is no doubt that support for Critchley in general is on the wain and this is not just because of results ,but the way he has his team playing.

It was getting a bit nasty where I was sat at the Wigan game. A few lads really not happy with the players and Critchley. I left on 90 minutes, didn’t want to hear the abuse.

To say he's lost the fanbase may be extreme, but a portion have never liked him since his return and he's certainly lost more with inconsistency and boring football. To say it's some fringe minority that don't like him is nowhere near the truth.

I am one of the nob heads who will go to Blackpool games regardless, but I worry about next season - if I was an on-the-fencer or two clubber I doubt I'd waste my money or weekends on this brand of football, it's hard to find it exciting even when we win. There has just been something lacking since his return, some unquantifiable spark and that is reflected I think in the poor atmosphere at the majority of games this season.

We should have gone for a fresh face, if a new manager had us in this position I think people would generally be positive. Because it's Critchley, people expected more and thus are disappointed.

Really? After his 'non-event' experience as Stevie G's lackey at Aston Villa, followed by his 'capital punishment' at the hands of that unruly mob at QPR, you really felt that made him the ideal candidate for a return to the hotseat at Bloomfield Road, the scene of his previous, rather ignominious departure, after he'd f----d us off, without so much as a 'by your leave', to go and play with the big boys strutting their stuff in the greed league?

Against this backdrop, the 'expectation' I had of him following his most unwelcome return could be captured as standing at: one fat ZERO.
