Leeds is full of them. OK if you don't have kids but after that, no fun with a houseful of kids.Fantastic idea, nowhere in the UK has them and would definitely put Blackpool back in the map. I’ve lived in a few high rise apartments highest being 21st floor, not only do you get a fantastic view it’s also fascinating being surrounded by other big buildings wether up high or down on the ground.
Define full, and how big are they?Leeds is full of them. OK if you don't have kids but after that, no fun with a houseful of kids.
What was originally railway then car parks along the canal and river is now all high rise for maybe a mile and a half. Mainly student lets.Define full, and how big are they?
My idyllic home would be in the countryside and never envisaged living up high but I really enjoyed the experience, didn’t have my child with me but had two dogs, just think Mary Mungo and Midge.
Back in the ground now though
Wow sounds like it’s changed a lot since I used to frequent the placeWhat was originally railway then car parks along the canal and river is now all high rise for maybe a mile and a half. Mainly student lets.
Derby baths wasn’t too bad, never understood why they pulled it down!blackpool used to be full of architectural gems, the open air baths at south shore, the art deco building at the north entrance to the PB, the edwardian building on the pr0m where it meets where it meets chapel street, the solarium building at harrowside, the old woolworths building, there is no need to build skyscrapers, but there is absolutely no reason for some of the shisser that has been built in blackpool over the last forty years starting with the eyesore that is the houndshill centre.
It's basically a Yorkshire version of what has happened in Manchester.Wow sounds like it’s changed a lot since I used to frequent the place
yep theres another oneDerby baths wasn’t too bad, never understood why they pulled it down!
