Why still “taking the knee” ?

But the racists are still out there. Anything that protests against evil, which racism is, gets my continued support

Not all black people have the same opinion about things, maybe a coincidence but I've found white people to be like that as well.

I'll criticise anybody that I see as saying something hateful, divisive or stupid. The thing Joshua said about boycotting white people's shops fell into that bracket just as Nigel Farages comments about not wanting to live next door to Romanians did.
Racists, opportunists and people who speak before applying more thought exist in every ethnic group.
 
I have a question.

Since it's Black Lives Matter, and the gesture is clearly for the African ethnic group alone, are the players in favour of racism against Asians? Are we allowed to use derogatory words for people from China, Japan, Pakistan, or maybe Germany, France, Spain etc?

Why a statement against racism for one group only, isn't that in itself racist?

Everyone is quick to defend George Floyd and support the “take the knee” stance, which is well within everyone’s rights.

I just want to know why there isn’t a thread regarding the uncovering of Muslim grooming gangs in Telford & Rochdale, which has been prevalent on the news recently?

Are people too scared to speak out, or something?

Or is it because it doesn’t fit the left-wing, mainstream media narrative that people chose not to speak out?

Criminals in the US have more of an impact on British sport than the rape of innocent women and children who are native to our country. The “wokeism” is stifling.

American stuff on race should probably stay in America, UK history and life is different so American race politics are probably best left over there. Along with widespread gun ownership, low food standards, religion in politics and rampant uncontrolled capitalism! Hope that last bit isn't racist towards Americans!

I followed the trial.

George Floyd died from a lack of oxygen during his arrest, a doctor at the trial of ex-police officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis has said.
Contradicting the defence, Dr Martin Tobin said fentanyl did not cause Mr Floyd's death. He said even a "healthy person...would have died".
Mr Chauvin, 45, was filmed kneeling on Mr Floyd's neck and back for more than nine minutes during his arrest last May.

I thought it was against all forms of discrimination now? I’ve been called a ginger c**t all my life and now I’m bald I get called a bald ginger c**t do I care? Do I f**k. The knee thing doesn’t work it irritates as many as it does those in support of it it probably makes things worse

Right, let’s debate. So you’re shocked that in a country, which predominantly white, that more crimes are committed by white people?

This stat literally backs up the grooming gang scandal as it states people prosecuted. Remainder removed.

We're not victims though, are we? I'm sure there are more extremist views from some people associated with the movement but it doesn't affect my life in any way, does it affect yours?

All paedophiles and probably all serious sex offenders need locking up permanently no matter what background they come from.
There is also another side to this story and it shouldn't need to be said but parents and local authorities shouldn't be so neglectful of their children that they can come home having spent their time being groomed by these people.
Look after your kids and the gangs can't groom them!
