Yet another long night editing yet another painful video

WIGAN 2-1 BLACKPOOL | 10 MEN BLACKPOOL DROP TO 2ND OFF THE BOTTOM AFTER AN 87TH MINUTE HEARTBREAKER

With Captain Marvin Ekpiteta sent off after 20 minutes it was always going to be a struggle and we almost survived with a point but it wasn't to be and it had to be none other than former player Curtis Tilt who stuck the knife in and twisted it.

Blackpool Drop down to 23rd 2nd off the bottom as the World Cup winter break is upon us it is not looking good

Sorry it is yet another losing video. Do you blame Appleton? or is this one Big Marv's fault again? I thought with 11 on the pitch we were looking pretty comfortable but 70 minutes with 10 men you just kind of knew we wouldn't hang on but the 87th minute was yet another bitter pill to swallow...it's a hard knock life at the moment

 
Thoroughly deflated this morning Lee,with 11 on the pitch I think we win that game and it’s a different story. We’ve got winnable games before January which is when decisions need to be made to save our our status .10 wins needed .Thanks for great video Lee

Apart from the result a great vid once again.
 
Lee - the young fan debate was spot on and the chaos with it the same - it’s easy to criticise X, Y or Z

B U T - this mess was entirely caused by the Board but mostly Critchley

Apple Head is a self cantered puppet and waste of space but who would have done much better with our injury / ‘cost of living’ crisis

Players coming in could smell a dead rat, players leaving could too. That speaks volumes about our ‘Summer Business’ and even if we had got most of them would they be injured too ?

No-one knows what really goes on but there’s a lot of very very unhappy half good players and what 5he hell has happened to the League’s Top Scorer ? I’ll rest my case there and always available for interview, re gardening !

yes Critch leaving in the way he did was really bad and set the whole tone of the summer really for me and the transfer disasters throughout the summer only added to the mix then stir all that up with an unpopular choice manager with quite a large section of the support and you had a recipe for disaster. I hope they can fix it because we are not in a good spot at the moment

We had winnable games before the world cup.
West Brom were their own worst enemy.
We make em look like Real Madrid even though it took them an eternity to make their dominance pay.
Luton had an entire defence in the treatment room yet Pool decided to act that terrace chant out by " not being able to finish in a brothel "🤦🏻‍♂️
Boro, even though you just knew they'd capitalise on the new manager bounce we still made them look world beaters.
Wigan, oh dear, Wigan another club who'd potted their manager and only winning 1 home game all season, gave them a man advantage for the best part of 70 minutes and even after Gazs great goal you just knew the inevitable was going to happen!!.

With Birmingham, Cardiff, Hull and Sheffield Utd coming up how on earth can you say that these games are winnable?
Statistically all games are winnable i suppose but the four games I've quoted before the world cup, 3 of those teams were either bellow us or in the bottom 3.

You may just win optimist of the year.
Go on what are your poi ts predictions for the remaining matches of 2022?

They won’t !
 
I’d like to think we can win 2 out of the 4 games but if we lose 4 we are really up against it .Let’s see how they pan out ,we need 10 wins from here or equivalent,that’s possible but probably not if we need 10 from January
 
Thanks, as always, Lee - you deserve a break after the last few weeks of filming/editing etc, which must have seemed a pretty thankless & depressing task, given recent form/results.

Hopefully better things to come….

I'd like to think we'll win them all but we won't 🤦🏻‍♂️
 
We spoke briefly after the game, Lee, and you actually summed up my thoughts pretty well.

Whatever our views on MA, no one can deny he's not been desperately unlucky but to have a manager who seems to attract such bad luck is perhaps reason enough alone to get rid.

I did say that at the end of the video 'is he just unlucky'? is there such a thing? One thing for sure is we concede late in games sometimes on half time but quite often from 85 minutes on and we also concede from corners and if we keep doing those things then he does not know how to prevent those things from happening and those things have to be fixed.

Is it because we don't 'manage time' like other clubs do be it going down injured, playing for free kicks, making subs and taking a minute to walk off, kick it into the corners, pass it round the back for 5 minutes etc etc

And for corners why didn't we have a man on the far post (we never do and it keeps costing us) if we had have had that 1st goal wouldn't have gone in it would have been cleared easily.

Is that his problem? that he is not unlucky but he can't see whatever he needs to see to make sure we stop conceding late on and to set pieces and corners?
