WIGAN ?

He’s bought the club, all its assets and the stadium. He’s paid all wages that were owed and paid off HMRC and all the creditors in one fell swoop. Apparently, Lisa Nandy put in some sterling work too, that got a special mention. Lucky, lucky Wigan I would say.
 
I’m sure he’ll keep them on an even keel and of course having the ground and both teams who play there under the same ownership will help. That said, knowing someone who works for him, he isn’t exactly one for throwing good money after bad.

A proper politician. Not too many about.
 
Notice they've sold Scully to Portsmouth and so clearly the new pockets aren't that deep either.
