Because it is a complete waste of time unless it's 100% full on but schools stay open you can go to work and the supermarket all the places the virus spreads.
In the mean time people are losing jobs and businesses are closing and shutting for the whole of November is financial suicide for retail as customers start shopping for Christmas, now all we've done is made Amazon even richer.
 
Football teams have to use hotels and their restaurants for away games.
Travel for business purposes is still allowed some presumably some hotels will remain open.

Maybe the lockdown does need to be stricter it’s not for us to decide but it’s 100% NOT a waste of time. My partner’s ICU ward has expanded and now running at 150% capacity without additional ICU trained staff.

It can’t go on.

Weird isn't it - can't help feeling this time more and more businesses will plead their case to stay open and just wonder if this lockdown will have any impact at all.

Correct. Business travel means you can't catch covid. It only strikes if you book in as staying for leisure.

The restaurants and pubs attached to the likes of Premier Inns can stay open for that reason. Book a room for £15 and have a night at the pub.

How is it over there at mo? Should have been there in June celebrating a double 50th so have moved it to end of June 21.
