Winding up the opposition fans

Is it time to start punishing all the fingers to the lips, excessive celebrations and other actions in front of opposing fans after a goal? Mavididi's celebration in front of the brummies tonight crossed a line. With the problems in Turkey and Greece recently, as well as the long standing issues in Scandinavia, the low countries, Spain and eastern Europe, let alone Celtic fans and EFL clubs' fans, players need to be reined in. Many 'fans' are edgy enough without being goaded

Should be a straight red for brazen incitment of opposition football fans. It has the potential for full on crowd violence and is unacceptable. End of.

What was that with West Ham players yesterday running to sit on the hoardings directly in front of the away fans?

Agreed,, starting with a retrospective red for that Northampton wanker who stood in front of the North arms aloft, tongue out.

Surprised the zulus weren't more reactive last night... he was sat there for quite a while! He was booked for incitement though so surely managers will put a stop to it anyway.

Nah leave it be its fun, the Leicester player got booked because the hoarding was very close to the supporters whilst the West ham lad who did the same celebration got away with it cause the supporters are in a different post code to the hoardings. The actual celebration is funny as fck.

It depends really, if a player gets pure sh1t from the fans then scores I have no issue with him giving something back and any fans upset about it should grow up, dry their eyes and see the funny side of it.
If a player who hasn't been getting any grief scores and then as Mavididi did purposely tries to antagonise fans then he should be booked and then fined just as a club would get fined for not controlling their fans.
As with everything though context is king and it isn't a 1 answer fits all.
