WINDOW OPEN: SHOW COACHES THE DOOR

The Gazette headline and quote today below revises my view on the club.

'Blackpool boss won't change his thinking after consecutive defeats'.

“I still believe we’ve got good attacking players in the squad, so we have to believe in what we’re doing and we have to stick to how we prepare."

Fans can no longer rely on Critchley and other first team mentors.

Amid the open transfer window,, Sadler must replace them now for success.

Compensation for a new leader from those here would attract better quality.

Appleton (Lincoln)
Moore (Doncaster)
Lambert (Ipswich)
Coleman (Accrington).

Are show coaches the way show ponies get around?

Appleton. As if.
Moore. Not long settled in at Donny. Wont want to leave.
Lambert. Actually, I could see that. Hes on thin ice there.
Coleman. Too comfortable at Accy. Couldn't hack the step up to Rochdale.

What Critch says is, I think, very true.

He missed the next sentence out though, which would have gone something like, “But I’ve played them all out of position so we’ve not been able to see what they can do yet”.

I’d then hope the third sentence would read, “I think I need to play a few of them more, and when I do, play to their strengths instead of their weaknesses”.

Number 1 tosser!

I really do hope that Sadler's approach will be a new style of club ownership. Let's bid an unfond farewell to the days of "hire 'em, fire 'em" and look at how a Head Coach with backing to develop slowly caan move us on. There will be more than Paulco, 62+ and fellow-travellers champing at the bit to get rid. I say, "new regime, new style of management." Onwards and upwards.

It's up to Critchley to get it right during the 2nd half of the season and get his abundance of 'attacking players' to score some goals!
On loan Ballard is helping to shore up the defence for this season.
Somehow he has to find someone who can boss midfield, a player with some creativity and a few goals in his locker.
If things improve then he will be at the helm next season but if things go pear shaped then Sadler will need to sharpen his axe.

You've a point there. Surely he knows that a few goals solves a lot of problems.

I ** love the ignore button.
made for this absolute wanker.

The ignore button makes a perfect fit.

This suits ostrich fans with their heads in the sand, along with the coaches.

The same people who criticise how few goals Blackpool have scored.

Like diners, at a restaurant, who complain at its bad food - and the small portions.

I'd never ignore anyone, if it makes you feel better.
