Well, at least it'll be on TV at a more convenient time of dayLooks like it’s going to Saudi Arabia ,after their only rival Australia pulled out of the bidding.
I remember seeing the Saudi national team get battered 6-0 at Bloomfield Road just before my 14th BirthdayLooks like it’s going to Saudi Arabia ,after their only rival Australia pulled out of the bidding.
A bit of winter sunWinter tournament again?
Average temperature over 40c in June.
The problem is FIFA trouser most of the moneyProblem is these big tournaments just cost too much money, how long will it be before we have no-one wanting the next Olympics or world cup? Needs to get sorted there is plenty of money in the game (football anyway) just not being used in the best manner. Be interesting to see if they relax rules around alcohol if not Bahrain will be rocking
UndoubtedlyWas thinking if England put in a cheeky bid would they get it or would Saudi have bigger brown envelopes ?
Hope they will pull in bigger crowds than the footballing disciple, Jordan Henderson is currently attracting!
Of course they won't, despite Budweiser being a major sponsor.Problem is these big tournaments just cost too much money, how long will it be before we have no-one wanting the next Olympics or world cup? Budweiser, if they’ve any sense, will just end their sponsorship by 2030…Of course they won't, despite Budweiser being a major sponsor.
Don't tell Bendit but Hendo will be a major assett to the squad, with his in depth knowledge of Saudi conditions and appeal to the local fanbase; all 800 of them! You laugh but Henderson will still be in the squad in 2034
They're doing a grand job of buying every type of sports washing you can, with FIFA enjoying another large slice of the pie - never forget this:
