Hi all,

moved post here as the main forum moves so fast.

you'll see from the statement below that this year's event isn't quite going to run as normal, although the theory is that from the Monday it will. The first 3 sessions (opening Saturday and the 2 Sunday sessions) will be at 40% capacity and "rule of 6" type arrangements. It has the merit of being the safest way to go to the darts this year. I have season tickets (table seats) and have been going for many years and AVFTTers have come along in the past too and are doing so again this year. Given the short notice and people dropping out etc I've got a fair few tickets available (mainly the Saturday and Sunday sessions). If anyone out there is interested in going, please get in touch at degs6666@yahoo.co.uk with details of which sessions you would be interested in and how many seats and I'll reply (including ticket price) as soon as I can. The draw for the event is on Friday, and people might want to wait until then to see who is on for each session, but that obviously has a downside. Please mention AVFTT as I've another post to do elsewhere, thanks.

The following update has been issued on Friday July 2 for Betfred World Matchplay ticket holders.
The PDC thanks fans with tickets for the 2021 Betfred World Matchplay for their continued patience and understanding.
Due to outstanding logistical and technical issues there has been a further short delay in completing the ballot of ticket holders for Saturday July 17 and Sunday July 18, for which we apologise.
Seat ticket holders will be notified by Tuesday July 6 if their booking remains valid or if they have the option to defer their booking to the corresponding session of the 2022 event or claim a refund.
Fans with a booking for Standing tickets on July 17-18 will not be able to be accommodated under the regulations, and as such will have the option to defer their booking to 2022 or claim a refund.
All Season Ticket bookings for the 2021 Betfred World Matchplay will be honoured, although due to the amended layout of the venue for the opening two days these tickets will be located in a different location to the original booking.

As the first weekend is coming around fast, my Sunday 18th tickets are just £30 each or less

Worst case scenario is I'll be on the TV and looking like I'm taking social distancing to a new level :)

Cheers,

Dirky

It looks so fun with the crowd. But the players sweat buckets. They look worse than me after I have done my exercises. Must be the lighting that does it.

Ome of the hottest, sweatiest nights you can have but well worth every penny. Can't believe I am away and on holiday for the whole tournament.
