No surprise, never had a problem with them before Wembley but they were absolute tools that day and have disliked them since.

New research has analysed the football teams with the most hooligans, with West Ham United taking the top spot.
 
Think it depends on the police tactics. … some forces are clearly more lenient than others..some forces just give the offenders a clip round the ear or contain them with dogs some are much stricter
 
This weekend that may change , utter madness that Blackburn, Blackpool, Preston and Morecambe all play at home with 3pm kick offs, to add to the plods fun Portsmouth, Plymouth, Stoke and Wrexham who all travel well will probably all be at Preston Station before and after kick off. If not they will be in the seaside for the weekend , what a boost for the local economy 😬
 
Totally spurious report. As wet spam have far larger gates than we do. It's highly likely they'll see more arrests but the only like for like way to compare the behavior of fans would be to work out what percentage of each team's fans are arrested

I actually don’t think it went away. Just doesn’t get as much cover as it used to.
John Deary Me makes a good point about 4 local teams playing at home on the same day, which will certainly stretch the policing resources.
I used to work for GMP and every weekend we would work the City centre which could be chaos at times.
Fans going into Piccadilly and transferring across to Victoria for a connecting train and vice versa.
Then of course Utd or CIty would be at home so opposing supporters would be travelling in numbers and despite the fact that their teams weren’t even playing each other there would never be a weekend that was trouble free.
Throughout my service the worse supporters, by a country mile, were Rangers. Just out and out thugs who targeted the police
