Would it have been better if Vokes had scored?

Should have buried that chance at the end and maybe buried Critchley with it.
Just felt today that a win would keep the season alive and a defeat would give us some hope next season as the pressure might have been too much on Sadler to ditch Critchley.
As it is a 0-0 offers nothing.

we won't win the last 5 games, lucky if we get 7 points out of them. I think we will beat Cambridge but draw or lose to the Cods, if that happens he will be slaughtered at the end of the game. We are unlikely to get any more points than Lincoln and Oxford have now and could still finish 10th.

No.
Because then we'd have 0 points.
We came away with 1. Which isn't 3 and I'm as angry as anyone. But Critchley isn't going anywhere.
So to suggest 0 is better than 1 is silly.
The inept Critchley goes nowhere?

Sadler can expect many betrayed fans to go anywhere else than Bloomfield Road.

He’s hardly going to resign when he stands to receive a massive pay-off for failure.
Also too stubborn to accept he’s wrong.

And maybe Beesley should have buried the chance he had at the death instead of hitting it straight at the keeper.

Or maybe, with nothing to lose, they'll give it a go and murder some teams.
I honestly think the only way that will happen is if Norburn gets the lads in a huddle before the game and says " sod Critchley's possession bollocks, let's go and have fun and play football"
