have beaten Forest, then win at Rovers, but lose tomorrow, thus amassing 6 points over three games, or beat the nobbers, but get nothing from two games against teams vying for playoff contention?
We've done both Lancashire clubs at home, so have nothing to fear when it comes to local bragging rights.
It could be argued we've had the more successful campaign after reestablishing ourselves as a credible Championship outfit, whereas our local rivals should, perhaps, have been better placed to make a promotion push (although Blackburn are still thereabouts) after the length of time they've been playing at this level.
Head says the former, heart will always want us to beat the enemy.
Whatever happens and reeling as we might be after yesterday, hats off to the Board, coaches and players for giving us a hell of a reintroductory ride.
Thank you guys.
