I believe Pool played in a yellow away shirt in the late 80s. Does anyone have a photo please?

Remember seeing it for the first time at Wrexham away, I think the ‘pool fans started booing as the team ran out first, until they realised it was us.
Also seem to remember it being Alex Dyers first game, but could be wrong there.

Think it was around 1983/84. It’s one I don’t have. I didn’t start collecting shirts until 1986.

Sorry i dont have any pics but the only yellow shirt i remember was a Bass sponsored number away at Crewe in 1989/90. One was sold on ebay yonks ago and fetched very good money.

It was the bass shirt I'm thinking of Alfie. I've checked online but can't find a pic anywhere.

As yellows go, I seem to recall it was fairly pale. Nothing like a Norwich shirt, for example.

Yeah this was the only time I remember a yellow kit ... don't think it was ever for sale in the shop though ... so the one for sale must have been a player issue ...

We wore it at either Crewe or Brentford in the 89/90 season (I think), and it was bright yellow with a red Bass logo. I know this because I am looking at it.

Pretty sure this yellow shirt was exactly the same as the home shirt only yellow. Same design and pattern
