Yet another FA Cup question....

Without using Dr Google, which was the last team to win the FA Cup fielding only English players (not British but specifically English)?
 
I'm guessing Fulham vs Wet Spam mid 70's.
Vaguely remember one of those two fielding 11 Englishman. Begrudgingly I'll go WHU.

Correct! WHU v Fulham in 1975. I went to that final as my brother-in-law used to play with Alan Taylor at Morecambe.....who then happened to score the two winning goals.

Not sure it's odd, I could give you 7 or 8 players out of most 80s top flight teams in any season. Even those in division 2 (the championship now).

Right now I could have a decent stab at Liverpool and united, maybe City, but after that would struggle to name 8 players from any other PL side right now.

Remember a big thing being made of it being an all London affair & how many Londoners were involved yet as you pointed out Taylor the double goal scorer was a northerner, Rochdale I think.
