Not for the football, but the Wild West punch up in the Rochdale Supporters Club in the 80's was something I'll never forget!

Same game I think as this piece from my scrap book. First time mounted police had been deployed inside a football ground.

August 1968 Aston Villa somehow managed to con my parents that I was going with a friends father the reality was a trip on standerwicks coach from poulton road in Fleetwood big adventure for a 12 year old.
March 1969 Bolton the match was moved to an evening kick off to avoid a clash with the grand national interesting evening in the lever road made it back to the coach in one piece .
