Your weakest claim to fame?

Was filling up the car early one morning in Congleton and parked the other side of the same pump was a huge yank style truck. Filled up went to the kiosk where the girl said you were playing it cool there.
No idea what she was on about and as I walked back to my car and opened the door I had the feeling of someone staring at me. Turned around and it was David Beckham who said " your sticker made me laugh".
I has the proverbial Pool fan peeing on a Preston shirt sticker in my side window.
He didn't ask for an autograph so neither did I.

Oooooh, I forgot. I went on my honeymoon with Gazza in 1995.

To be fair, I was with my new wife and he was with Sheryl on a Virgin flight to LA, but I definitely felt strong emotions as the flight was held up to let them on and off. He has ghosted me ever since.

1) Louie Spence was in the year below me at school.
2) My brother was childhood mates with a bloke called Leroy who went on to be a dancer in Prodigy.
3) I once saw Steve Wright (the DJ, not the mass-murderer) from a distance at Liverpool Street station.
4) Bruce Forsyth stopped and had a chat with my mum in a supermarket in Blackpool while she was pushing me in my pram.
5) I stood next to Roger Osborne (Ipswich Town 1978 FA Cup scorer) in a bar.
6) Emlyn Hughes winked at me once.

I also used to work for a guy called Gary Goldsmith who is the brother of Kates (as in future Queen) Uncle.

He was also done by the News of the World.

It’s fair to say he was a HUGE character - he was even at my wedding!!!

Sounds like my kind of chap 👍

I'd that was you who did the commentary in the 3-0 win v the knobbers where Tony Cunningham got sent off then your commentary on that match is legendary.
I still have that video
I am glad that to hear that MM; thank you. That was the biggest seller the club ever had, in a time before you saw clubs like ours on the TV.

I knew John Tanner when he lived in Blackpool as he was a barman at the Adam and Eve (after it’s hey day!)

I knew Rachel through an old girlfriend. Nice girl and loads of fun. Was horrified at what happened to her. My (up to a month ago) next door neighbour played Tanner in some TV Crime show. Still not sure how I feel about that.

Played a small part in the BBC's war drama 'World On Fire'. I'm also in an upcoming series on Paramount (TV series of a great film).
