Oh do me a favour, he had all the time in the world to get to that looping Cross and punch it away, but true to form he stayed rooted to his goal line.

He's a decent shot stopper but has no control of his penalty box and his distribution is embarrassing.

Whether that is the case or not… he’s our player and he’s an absolute professional, who doesn’t deserve that.

Maxwell was clearly at fault for their first …started to come then stopped basically in no man’s land …once you come you have to be decisive and make sure their forward thinks twice about the challenge that should be coming.
Been a big fan of Maxwell but time to give Grimshaw a chance……we are after today more or less doomed.
As for the Manager and his side kick….please go now…you are bringing nothing positive to the table.

Whilst I'm not part of the Maxwell witch hunt it's odd that he has retained his place because everyone else in the squad has been swapped.
You've got to look at Steve Banks input into this and you've also got to question if there's an issue with Grimmy's attitude in training.
Just my thoughts not "insider" information.
 
It's hardly a "witch hunt" as others have said it's bizarre Maxwell keeps his place when he's been (how can I put it politely?) erm, shit! That said there are a number of others who McCarthy seems to favour too.

At the game I thought Maxwell was at fault but he couldn't have punched it unless he was stood on 10 foot stilts, if anyone could be criticised it would be Nelson. Husband who is usually pretty reliable for the second, made a bad mistake, their third was a decent bit of passing but we left the scorer unmarked as I think we were all over the place after conceding 2 quick goals. We were ok for the first 20 minutes though without actually scoring. Result down to lack of key players, quality & confidence.
 
Maxwell is a great shot stopper but he is weak controlling his area and he should have come for the first goal, he had lots of time, the other 2 goals weren't his fault and he made a brilliant save. He certainly didn't deserve that to be sang out loud. It's just another horrible thing in a long list of horrible things this season. I thought we were rid of it forever once the vermin were kicked out.

His mistake was half coming then getting caught on his heels so he couldn't jump properly to make the save. An embarrassing goal to concede and the effect of it on the atmosphere was like all the air going out of a balloon. He was then done by Husband's mistimed back header and even at that point it was virtually game over as our heads had gone, including some in the crowd with arguments kicking off all over.

When we signed Maxwell there were posters on their board saying things like, the lashers have signed flapswell, so it’s obviously not a recently acquired nom de guerre. No smoke without fire?

What a strange post. How many points and goals has he cost us. It could be the difference between staying in the championship. You can't defend the indefensible.
 
My season ticket card was thrown away at half time. I'm quite simply not wasting another minute on this bunch of spineless, cretins that pose as footballers. Send all the loan players back, get rid of all the players out of contract, sack the geriatric idiot who is our manager and only play players truly invested or care about the club. Do not appoint a new manager, losing 6 games is not the start he needs. Accept relegation and try to build something ahead of our L1 campaign. Mr Sadler I respect you but please do not let yourself or Mansford anywhere near the next managerial appointment, he's a clown and you are not qualified to make such decisions. See you all in L1. Maxwell was at fault for the 1st goal. Stupid to say he wasn’t.

He got lobbed by a header 👏🏻

The Grimshaw chant was stupidity and just not helpful at all.

However, it’s laughable the amount of mistakes he’s made now. Said it all along, if he stayed in net we’d get relegated.

Would have struggled last season with him 💯
Well we did tbf if you look at our results when he played.
