I have that same pic about A3 size on wall in my house
It was Phil Heywood. He needed a special license to be a Premier League photographer. It was a Premier League regulation, nothing to do with our club. Just seemed harsh when he had followed and pictured our club for so many years prior to that.as
Oyston got rid of the gazette photographer I think when we made the PL. Think he might be back now as I spoke to him when on cleaning duty and I would imagine he's got a pretty extensive back catalogue.
the company that I worked for made the teak window frames to replace the old ones which had rotted they were triple glazed years later my own firm carried out the screed ing to the roof sun bathing terrace the windows were as new and the whole lot was demolished a couple of years later //// what a wasteI could not believe the Derby baths had been demolished. I used to go there often when living in Blackpool. Also saw a number of competitions at the poo the only drawback was there was no diving pool. On one of my visits "back home" I was disappointed the swimming pool was no longer there.
I have both games against Liverpool on DVD.

There was a horse racing course at Squires Gate. It dates before the golf club you have linked.
I wonder if the golf course was created on the same site (having a golf course in the middle as many other race courses have or had such as Hoylake Royal Liverpool).
Either way the club was either on the airport or training ground or maybe both. Fascinating stuff.

When you look at Sir Jimmy’s physique you can see why he played for England. Unit.
Remember it well. Fortunately I wasnt near the front, but the pressure led to a wall collapsing near us, could have been a disaster. Think we lost 1-0, dodgy pen. (But that might have been another match )
