Not the Bairstow dismissal that’s cost us, brainless batting in the first innings did that. Bazball is entertaining, but doesn’t seem to get the players to think about what they’re doing.
Australian cricketers are always bell ends, as they’ve shown in the game again.
 
I don’t want to see Ollie Robinson anywhere near this England side. Bang average bowler who has a big mouth.

Broad stays in with Stokes, getting battered and bruised with bouncers, then Ollie just swipes at the

When Stokes was out the game changed. The batsmen left are all bowlers and cant just leave everything. And he bowled well in this test.

Why can’t they leave everything? It’s better than hitting the exact shot Australia want you to play, with multiple fielders covering anything that doesn’t go for 6.

Disagree, it's the equivalent of a striker hanging out behind the keeper and waiting for him to roll the ball out and then sneak in for an open net. It's sneaky but we'd never be complaining if our player did it and scored.
 
Dreadful behavior by the Australians. Look what Smith did before and is still in the side. Win at any cost is not in the spirit of cricket. There will be bad feeling between the teams and the crowds in the next 3 games should give the aussies hell 🤨

Nope , it was allowing them to score over 400 in the first innings in perfect bowling conditions that was the reason we are in the position we are.
 
Bairstow lost us the game, forget the batting in the first innings, or the lack of pace with our bowlers, had he stayed, we would have won.
 
Great performance from Stokes but a combination of poor batting choices, an under cooked strike bowler and Aussie cheating cost us this game.

Two very evenly matched teams and it will be tough to come back from here but think we still have a chance for 3-2.

It'll be interesting to see what Stokes has to say.



I don't watch Sky much as usually just have TMS on but watched earlier today . . . why the hell is Andrew Strauss on TV?

He's the dullest bloke alive and talks a load of shite. Defending the Aussies FFS.

Luckily for the Aussies the crowd by 3pm won't have a clue who they are giving stick to or why.

Pre 3pm you can see some/the Yarkshire vermin throwing things at fielders on the boundary, which would be ooo but might lead to a ban on TM's there, which would be nice.

Not sure mate but I guess we'll get about 500 tickets for Finals day if we get there.

I'm hoping for a home tie on Friday for the quarters 🤞

Worcs look like winning by a convincing margin so they may pip us to 2nd spot.

But Bairstow could have easily stayed in and we'd have won.
