Not good news about Joseph..

We haven't been had over at all, it's just one of those things, if he is out for 12 weeks then they have to deal with that and make sure he is fully fit when he returns. We needed another striker anyway and I would say we now need 2, one we sign permanently and another on loan, and I don't mean Kylian Kouassi.

we have a week till the close of the window, it's up to the recruitment team to get the deals over the line.

Yep, we have a week to panic buy a striker.
And now clubs know that, we'll be paying top dollar for mediocrity 🙄

If it's a new injury, then it's unlucky.

If it's the pre-existing injury, then that's worrying and I can only think the Bishop medics were on holiday and some year 10 work experience kid did the honours.

If (and its a big IF based on previous rumours on here) I'd imagine we will be looking at loaning someone until Christmas.

We need someone who is first team ready now. Kouassi will take time so let’s get some experience in.
Take time? He was playing for Bedfont Sports, London’s version of Squiers Gate in 2020 who also have a sunday league team. Think it’s safe to say he wont ever be ready.

Cant go round saying we have the league’s 7/8th biggest budget and sign 5 lads on a free 2 of which are keepers who will play about 10 games combined all season.

You do have a question what's happening with our medical team. 😟
Well at least they spotted that career changing injury to Bishop. 🤣

Seriously though you would have thought we would have learnt our lesson after the signings of Nuttall, Stewart, Anderson, Gabriel.

Obviously not. 😫

Here we go more crap written, a week to panic buy? So the poster knows that the club have not been working all the while on another striker and thinks and then spreads more BS on here.
You’re probably right, they may have been working night and day to sign a striker who hasn’t played in this league and has a grand total of 8 in other lower leagues.

What a nobhead you are stop it now before someone actually laughs at you.
Oh dear, appears my original post has fallen foul of the moderators. Apparently you’re only allowed to say nasty things about Blackpool FC, its staff and its owner!

Anyway, hopefully without the bad word I’m allowed to remind everyone of this …

There was also a rumor before he returned that he had done his hip and would be out for the season, which was completely unfounded…

The club have already told us that he’ll be out for a while and are waiting to hear back regarding his timetable for return, they’ll let us know the extent of his injury when it’s time.

The club’s communication has been fine on this front.

Add to that. Bridcutt out for months. Charlie Goode played a few never to be seen again Beesley out for 9 months. Grant ward out for months. Gabriel was out for a good few months. Lavery was out quite a while. Trybull out for months. Fiorini was out for months. Poveda was out of the squad a lot. Will Blackpool heirarchy ever learn

It's rumour. You're in Engcestershire now😂

Actually I think the Club has handled this badly really. When he signed it should have been stated that he had a knock but it's nothing to concern the medics and he'll be out for X amount of time.

Obviously he played a little bit in the cup game and has been out since. The club to protect itself against criticism could have said that he's picked up a new injury which will need to be assessed etc adding it's unrelated to the initial knock when he signed.

Obviously if it is related to the original you'd say nothing, or as little as possible.

I know I've had a dig furthe up in the comments, but realistically, this isn't something the club could see happening. Yes, he had an injury when we first got him, but it looked like a minor thing as he was back in training in a few weeks. He played against Derby and looks to have got injured again. It's easily done, my brother in law tore his Achilles over the weekend, slipping on some water in his kitchen. Anything can happen at any time. We could have signed Bishop, and his ACL could have torn the first game, we have zero luck with injuries

I said it before but I'll repeat it.

There's a difference between signing someone injured and signing someone injury prone.

I haven't seen anything to say Joseph falls into the latter camp.

He's here for a number of years. The fact we're short up front is making this situation worse than it actually is.

People were upset we let Keshi go. Now he was injury prone.
