In what way is her football different from the mens?Every time I watch a match on TV she is doing punditry. It drives me mad. She must have the best agent in the world. She has never played football but she has played women's football which is a different game. Why?
I wouldn’t mind if she had a bit of charisma but very dour.Every time I watch a match on TV she is doing punditry. It drives me mad. She must have the best agent in the world. She has never played football but she has played women's football which is a different game. Why?
In what way is her football different from the mens?
It's deemed a separate sport by FIFA.In what way is her football different from the mens?
It’s absolutely nowhere near as good. Don’t pretend otherwiseIn what way is her football different from the mens?
Edit; not my finest post!I wouldn’t mind if she had a bit of charisma but very dour.
Thank god she doesn't own a cake shop. Her knowledge of nuts would be worrying. And she owns a cafe in Manchester. What does she know about coffee. Especially men's coffee
Yeah. But it’s not though is it.It's deemed a separate sport by FIFA.
We’ll go to the match live thenEvery time I watch a match on TV she is doing punditry. It drives me mad. She must have the best agent in the world. She has never played football but she has played women's football which is a different game. Why?

But they do. And take them off and whirl them round their heads when they score.Sadly they don’t swap shirts at the end
Not much i dont thinkAnd she owns a cafe in Manchester. What does she know about coffee. Especially men's coffee
Err, because this isn't 1975? Maybe society's moved on a bit.Every time I watch a match on TV she is doing punditry. It drives me mad. She must have the best agent in the world. She has never played football but she has played women's football which is a different game. Why?
Totally agree . . she should be at home doing the ironing.Every time I watch a match on TV she is doing punditry. It drives me mad. She must have the best agent in the world. She has never played football but she has played women's football which is a different game. Why?
Maybe we can get Bob Geldof to arrange a Telethon for you.Every time I watch a match on TV she is doing punditry. It drives me mad. She must have the best agent in the world. She has never played football but she has played women's football which is a different game. Why?
I do.Fair point from 69skin, nobody knows who she is so how does she get punditry work on men’s elite level football
You don't know who she is? Yeah ok.Fair point from 69skin, nobody knows who she is so how does she get punditry work on men’s elite level football
Jimmy?Hill is class …
Jill … But her and Jack have been up JimmyJimmy?
Bet that kept his chin upJill … But her and Jack have been up Jimmy
Nobody knows who she is? You do for starters, otherwise you wouldn't be upset by her.Fair point from 69skin, nobody knows who she is so how does she get punditry work on men’s elite level football
You're *What a bunch of embarrassing losers some of you lot are. Sexism is disgusting, but what’s worse is a bunch of cowardly old men who recognise that and then try to justify their backwards dinosaur ‘logic’ with comments like ‘no one knows who she is’, ‘it should be the best person for the job’.
Your sat on the sofa and have never played a competitive match at an even half decent level. She’s got a European Championship, more caps than any male, an OBE (before she even won the Euros), had won medals at the Olympics and has played consistently at the top of her profession for 15 years. Also a coach for 15 years too.
Not that it should matter - but look how the male pundits (the people you listen to because women are supposed to belong in the kitchen) - they recognise she’s one of them. For all the thousands of ex foootballers Jill Scott gets the gig… is it because she’s a woman ? No. It’s because of her incredible career, success - probably the fact she’s educated above and beyond most other footballers of any gender and the facts she’s pretty good on camera (not an easy skill). Also she talks a lot of sense. Try not be blinded by the misogyny and you may recognise it.
I think you’ll find many folk know who she is. Everyone on this thread for a start, plus a few million moreFair point from 69skin, nobody knows who she is so how does she get punditry work on men’s elite level football
I do agree with that. What is more annoying is women’s football headlines mixed in with men’s football on sites such as the BBC. There should be a separate section.
Well that's OK. You are able to post on here so that we can tick the Neanderthal box.Let’s have it right she’s useless and is there so a box is ticked.
Everyone giving it this isnt 1976 no it isn’t but it should be the best person for the job.
I’m a massive golf fan and the women golf pundits are just as good and as knowledgeable of the game as the men, Iona stephen, inci mehmet, Laura Davies, Henni zuel, are all good but I’m afraid the women pundits in football just aren’t up to scratch.
It's women's football. In what way is her football different from the mens?
To be fair ,she does a better job then some men[Roy Keane], but I also believe there would be better men for the job and she should not be employed just because of her sex.Good and funny post but come on, she shouldn’t be anywhere near commentating on men’s football.
It’s getting ridiculous
