She’s good on the sky stuff with Neville, Keane etc. very likeable and natural. Majority of female pundits i find piss poor. They tell me nothing i can’t see with my own eyes, which has to be because they haven’t played or managed at that level. Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather slice off my own haemorrhoids then listen to Martin Keown for more than thirty seconds.

I must admit I much prefer the female commentators to the men on the whole and I think the reason is because the current generation of female pundits all played the game to a pretty high level in order to put the women’s game where it is today - but also because unlike the same generation of men they’ve had to work twice as hard without anything being handed to them. Most have held down full time jobs whilst training and playing and haven’t been treated like a demigod since primary school age. They know what it’s like to be a regular person and a regular fan. Footballs still a passion and they recognise how lucky they are to live and breathe it for a living. Not all the men - but most of them - don’t have that experience. The women are relatable and communicate as such. No arrogance.

Everyone giving it this isnt 1976 no it isn’t but it should be the best person for the job.
I’m a massive golf fan and the women golf pundits are just as good and as knowledgeable of the game as the men, Iona stephen, inci mehmet, Laura Davies, Henni zuel, are all good but I’m afraid the women pundits in football just aren’t up to scratch.

What is more annoying is women’s football headlines mixed in with men’s football on sites such as the BBC. There should be a separate section.
 
What a bunch of embarrassing losers some of you lot are. Sexism is disgusting, but what’s worse is a bunch of cowardly old men who recognise that and then try to justify their backwards dinosaur ‘logic’ with comments like ‘no one knows who she is’, ‘it should be the best person for the job’.

Your sat on the sofa and have never played a competitive match at an even half decent level. She’s got a European Championship, more caps than any male, an OBE (before she even won the Euros), had won medals at the Olympics and has played consistently at the top of her profession for 15 years. Also a coach for 15 years too.

Not that it should matter - but look how the male pundits (the people you listen to because women are supposed to belong in the kitchen) - they recognise she’s one of them. For all the thousands of ex foootballers Jill Scott gets the gig… is it because she’s a woman ? No. It’s because of her incredible career, success - probably the fact she’s educated above and beyond most other footballers of any gender and the facts she’s pretty good on camera (not an easy skill). Also she talks a lot of sense. Try not be blinded by the misogyny and you may recognise it.

She’s a lovely woman came across very well when she was in the jungle I like her. What I don’t like is all these women pundits and commentators in the men’s game why can’t they just stick to the women’s fixtures? I don’t watch women’s football but I presume it’s not peppered with shit footballers from the men’s game commentating. Karen Carney is the worst she’s as thick as pig shit so they thrust her into the limelight even more I do like Alex Scott though 😍

To be fair ,she does a better job then some men[Roy Keane], but I also believe there would be better men for the job and she should not be employed just because of her sex.
