Now let’s get the away form sorted and the play-offs are achievable
That was a good win????
FFS
It was a win yeh but there was nothing good about it.
It was a standard naff League One game, of which we've lost too many recently. So win ugly. And move on.That was a good win????

Every win is a good win, it wasn't pretty and I still have serious doubts about Critch and his tactics, but he will likely be here come May so it's better to just be optimistic about the situation than not. That was a good win????

Possibly realistic Ron2-0 home win to start the year off, I’d call that a good win, negative Nancy
He will be here all season and next too I reckon.Sure.
But check the away record under Critchley's intransigent tactical genius.
Then leave your brain at the turnstiles.
Did I say Critchley was a tactical genius??Sure.

How did Preston get on today Paulco?Sure.

Agreed. I actually we played quite well there, some good performances notably Dale and Joseph.2-0 home win to start the year off, I’d call that a good win, negative Nancy
He had to.I knew critch would turn it around after all the Internet abuse recently
Looked at the end a bit sad and clearly looks like he might be heading back after the Forest game - would be a great signing for us but looking doubtfulRhodes second half was class, work rate for someone who’s legs are starting to go was fantastic.
Fuck off you prickSure.

A wins a win. Was a dire watch though - the crowd reflected the game. No atmosphere until the 2nd goal went in. We're a mid table team at present with a very questionable and stubborn manager in chargeNow let’s get the away form sorted and the play-offs are achievable
Spot on AK....Thought 1st half was duller than one of @paulco posts. They had the better of the play. Bizarrely our tactics appeared to involve hitting long diagonals to CJ.
2nd half was good. Created a few chances and restricted them. We need a few signings though. Matty Virtue isn’t going to be the answer for the 5th season of people saying he might be. Morgan was good today and nice to see one of our players fly into a challenge like he did
Midfield needs strengthening physically and technically as does defence. Would like another wide option, I think Apter could be the answer but we’d probably have him turning backwards. We’ll need another striker depending on how long the rest are out. Got Madine written all over it.
Some will drop off. Oxford have already started for starters. It's an unusual league this season in that there are so many teams averaging around 2 points per game. It's usually just the automatic paces where teams have that ratio but it's right down to the final Play-Off spot this season.
Going to take a huge effort to close the gap or a big drop off from one or two of the teams in the Play-Off spots.
Always difficult when a team plays with 5 defenders just look at one of the best teams in the world (City); Sheffield threw everyone behind the ball and restricted City to just 2 goals even though they had 84% possession.
We actually had less possession today but got the win so very welcome
Slight change of tactics in as much as we played the long ball far more today instead of the pussyfooting about passing sideways and backwards. Maybe Critch has finally realised that there are other ways to play the game.
Pleased for CJ because despite what some people think that lad always puts a shift in and must cover more mileage than anyone.
Wiz, Oxford won away at Charlton today and are only 5 points off automatic promotion so I wouldn’t say they were dropping off at all. Some will drop off. Oxford have already started for starters.
Oxford were in the top two or thereabouts when the manager left.Wiz, Oxford won away at Charlton today and are only 5 points off automatic promotion so I wouldn’t say they were dropping off at all.
However, as regards Charlton, I think they are certainly in decline thanks to good old Appleton.
And likewise the fansA wins a win. Was a dire watch though - the crowd reflected the game. No atmosphere until the 2nd goal went in. We're a mid table team at present with a very questionable and stubborn manager in charge
Oxfraud, Barnsleh, Pompey, Horwich all got to come to usIt's an unusual league this season in that there are so many teams averaging around 2 points per game. It's usually just the automatic paces where teams have that ratio but it's right down to the final Play-Off spot this season.

I would say Dale, Joseph, Morgan , Casey and Rhodes.Agreed. I actually we played quite well there, some good performances notably Dale and Joseph.
You can see quite easily how he’s managed to make a decent career out of his ability. Such a shame he will most likely go back to being a bit part player at best. I’m sure he’s enjoyed being a key player.Love Jordan Rhodes what a top professional and credit to the game of football he is
