What's your target for EEE if you don't mind me asking. My big winner this year has been EEE (Emoire Metals). I bought in at 1.80p and it rose to 11p.
Itās just under 10p now and has more legs to go
154.37%, and I think you know.So come on then how did we all do in 2023?
What percentage did you return and what on?
I think 20p is doable. My original target was 12p but itās a moving feast and already gone over 13pWhat's your target for EEE if you don't mind me asking.
I bought a few of these ages ago and honestly had forgot about them as they went nowhere for yonks.....so consequently haven't been following them. I've read the recent RNSs and all looks OK but would be interested in your thoughts of "value in the ground" translated into a sensible share price.
Do you reckon 20p is do-able for example?
Thatās some return.154.37%, and I think you know.
You are at risk of getting greedy and we know what happens then.I think 20p is doable. My original target was 12p but itās a moving feast and already gone over 13p
If you're in it for the long haul then let that baby keep cookingYou are at risk of getting greedy and we know what happens then.
I promised myself to sell Rolls Royce at 200 and itās now just over 300 - when do you let go?
ā¦.and thats the question I really struggle to always answer!!
I am at the moment - but you canāt do it forever - for example another pandemic and my shares would be sold in an instant? If you're in it for the long haul then let that baby keep cooking
i used 212 app very simple and easy to get your onboard credit as they will email certificate on request .Took a bit of a hit this week only at 91 pc profit at the moment but got miles to go before at previous levels .Going to hold on very long termSeasideone and all,
I was looking at buying shares in a couple of cruise companies as Iāve just done a few cruises and may do more in the future.
I donāt intend buying and selling regularly.
Any ideas how best to do this? Should I just use an online app like erore, 212, xtb, cmc or similar?
Iām a total novice.
Cheers

I guess it depends on your strategy and your confidence in RR. I'm more of a long term invester rather than a trader. What was the stock value before the pandemic and what is it now?I am at the moment - but you canāt do it forever - for example another pandemic and my shares would be sold on an instant?
Iāve been investing for about eight years or so, started off quite well but got greedy on a couple and have lost out big time. You are at risk of getting greedy and we know what happens then.

Itās the Worlds biggest Casino!Iāve been investing for about eight years or so, started off quite well but got greedy on a couple and have lost out big time.
I got skunked on Sirius Minerals along with many others, I was heavily invested and believed it would have got much better, it didnāt.
My investments have generally been high risk and am currently 55% down on my SS ISA, luckily my pension has improved in the last month or so after a major downturn when the Ukraine happened.
Itās weird how Iāve never gambled in my life until I started this and decided to do it in large numbers
Let's compare again next year.Thatās some return.
I managed just over 45% on my entire portfolio, however I am risk averse and do not play the penny share market.
Will look at Joby Aviation - I have never heard of themHave done ok this year and made a little bit on Aviva and Avacta, and done well on RR which I`m still holding at the moment. Still holding some Avacta but will sell on the next bounce. Overall running at a profit of just over 20% (45% is very impressive), which for my first year of trading I am pleased with.
I have a pal who studies the market and we cross reference stuff (as novices) and he is rather keen on Joby Aviation as a long term bet...
went on my first last year now been on 3 and got 3 more booked absolutley hooked will never do another kind of holiday again .So much to do and going on especially the massive ships different places every other day to see and explore .Wife only went to keep me happy and is also hooked and its not that expensive when you consider akll meals free .With spending money on eating out it cost us more for a cottage in the dales overallCan I ask what you made of cruises?
My mrs is getting keen on the idea but Iām not sure if Iād get bored and end up getting pissed everyday which thereās nowt wrong with but I can do that at home.
Iād definitely just do a week first to try it if you've not done one before. Can I ask what you made of cruises?

Nice one, thanks for tip and I agree a shorter one for a first go sounds sensible. My brother is currently on a 34 night one to the Caribbean via Mauritius he loves em and does two or three a year, mind you he is 18 years older than meIād definitely just do a week first to try it if you've not done one before.
We did a week in Dec 22 (Canaries), loved it so we did a two week Caribbean cruise Nov/Dec 23ā.
Thereās loads to do on board, always something going on to do.
Hmmm interesting, Iāve been worried Iām a bit young for them but Iām of the age where more people I know seem to be trying it as an alternative holiday and Iāve not heard any negatives as yet.went on my first last year now been on 3 and got 3 more booked absolutley hooked will never do another kind of holiday again .So much to do and going on especially the massive ships different places every other day to see and explore .Wife only went to keep me happy and is also hooked and its not that expensive when you consider akll meals free .With spending money on eating out it cost us more for a cottage in the dales overall
Indeed it is, the odd time Iāve been in them Iāve been in danger of getting carried awayItās the Worlds biggest Casino!
Yep I mentioned shorting Tesla on this thread a while back. See March 5th 2021 and Feb 25th 2021.Any Tesla investors out there?
Bandagem was like a caged animal released to the wild, when his vessel docked in Bridgetown last December!Iād definitely just do a week first to try it if you've not done one before.

As you can tell, I donāt get out much nowadays. Cracking day.Bandagem was like a caged animal released to the wild, when his vessel docked in Bridgetown last December!
Just keeping an eye on it at the moment. Not really set a buying price just yet.Yep I mentioned shorting Tesla on this thread a while back. See March 5th 2021 and Feb 25th 2021.
The bubble has popped and doing OK with my short
If anyone had taken my advise they would now be booking a World Cruise in a penthouse suite.
Thinking of buying though if drops below 150.
Yeah. Think it's a good price at the moment. Thinking of tesla as less of a car company and more AI in the future. Also, they are miles ahead in the battery/charging space.Any Tesla investors out there?
Think the Cybertruck has been a damp squid. But I agree with other post they are much more than just cars. That said, the real game changer will be the much anticipated announcement of an affordable compact, circa Ā£22k. Production anticipated 2025. Shouldnāt have the same production issues as a stainless steel bullet proof pick-up! Hovering over buy button now at $170ish. Also agree with other poster this will be $500 share but Iād say in 3-5 years. Only concern is people will get sick of production lags and buy Chinese alternativesā¦.Any Tesla investors out there?
Itās a gamble and not a proper investment.Anyone dabbled in cryptocurrency?
I know a young lady in London who is doing quite well and she wants to help me get started, but a lot of red warning lights in my head are putting me off!
I was an earlier investor and have done ok over the years, look at Bitcoin, Etherium, Ripple as they are established and maybe some of the fringe assets such a as Solana, Tezos The Graph but Iād also say that now not the time, currently doing well but wonāt last, Iād wait for it to drop. There is a sort of four year cycle with it.Anyone dabbled in cryptocurrency?

I wouldnāt describe it as a ponzi as unfortunately Iāve had experience of something similar but itās defo extremely volatile, and I canāt profess to have my head around it.Iām glad you are doing well and hope you continue to do so.
For me, itās a giant Ponzi scheme that has no real value.
Each to their own obviously
We went on a two night Cunard from Southampton to Hamburg as an experiment. I didn't think cruising was for us but wanted to try it. We live in Hampshire so it was very convenient. The initial cost was Ā£250 all in so it was very cheap. Once on board the drinks were a reasonable price on the menu. However they added 15%. service. If we have bought the drinks package it would have been Ā£85 each per day. They also added Ā£15 per day service charge for the rest of the crew. If we had wanted the internet this was Ā£40 per day - I can't remember if that was per person or per cabin. Can I ask what you made of cruises?

You should change your user name toBitcoin only. Stay away from everything else. Buy it, forget about it.
You'll do better than 99% of these amateur stock pickers.
To each their own, my friend. You should change your user name to
āMagic Beansā.
Thatās about the worst financial advice I have ever heard!
Not Korean is she?Anyone dabbled in cryptocurrency?

Your last sentence is what I worry about coz itās not like you can get off and go elsewhere. Will probably try one in the next year or so, thanks for your inputWe went on a two night Cunard from Southampton to Hamburg as an experiment. I didn't think cruising was for us but wanted to try it. Once on board it became clear you were just two of 3,000 plus customers. The food was pretty good but if I tell you our table number in the restaurant was 439 and we had to queue to get in this gives you an idea of the scale of things. We were basically eating good quality ready meals. Load of entertainment which was of a high standard.
The cabin - described as a 'stateroom' was budget hotel standard and tiny. The bathroom was claustrophobic with the same type of toilet you get on trains.
However going back to the point of whether you invest the regulars clearly love the experience. There was a booking office on the ship where you could reserve future places and this always had a queue.
Not for us but if you like it fair enough. The additional, partly hidden, extras bump up the cost significantly. Too be honest it was a bit boring.
