But you get the point surelyThey aren't all like for like players, or inside forwards, by any means. Some of them are wide players.
All flair players who play either in a front 3 or behind in an attacking role

I tend to not pay any attention to these videos after I saw a video of Jerry Yates scoring goals for Swindon.Woodburn about to be announced on the club's Twitter acc
Edit: update:
I consider myself a positive person, especially about Blackpool, but I think it comes from maybe getting very excited before the season started and based off our start some are trying to stay more realistic and in turn pessimistic. I think the general response to this and most of our signings has been positiveWhen did we become so negative about everything we do. Lighten up some of you ffs
I do get the point yeah but no need to stretch the point, really, I think. We have a lot of attacking players but it's very difficult to piece together a front 6 from them. Several of them I just wouldn't pick tbh ,at the moment, if I could avoid it - Kemp, Lubala, Yates, Madine. Kaikai needs to get his act together. Critchley will live or die by how he manages to make sense of it all. Defence too.But you get the point surely

Goals will come... what we really need is some backbone in midfield to allow some of our more creative players to do the job they’re here to doI do get the point yeah but no need to stretch the point, really, I think. CJ, Sarkic, Anderson, Woodburn all seem to have something to offer but we need a central striker to slot in and make sense of it I think.
50 minutes to get one.
But if Virtue was fit you could play him and Robson as olding players, Anderson and CJ front wide players, and Woodburn or Sarkic as a number 10. Just need DJ Campbell back and we're in business.I do get the point yeah but no need to stretch the point, really, I think. Virtue isnt a holding midfielder, he's a box to box playerBut if Virtue was fit you could play him and Robson as olding players, Anderson and CJ front wide players, and Woodburn or Sarkic as a number 10. Just need DJ Campbell back and we're in business.
He an hold and get forward, take it in turns with Robson.Virtue isnt a holding midfielder, he's a box to box player
Or maybe its because you have clubs offering them fees as well as their full wage and we aren't in a position to do that. Look at Harry Wilson to Cardiff. They're paying his full wage and £1m fee as well for him for the season. It speaks volumes that Liverpool have sent none of their youngsters our way. I think we all hoped that one or two of their best under 21's would end up being improved whilst playing for us under Critchley's coaching at Blackpool. Perhaps Liverpool are not unhappy that Critchley moved on.
Disagree..not a midfield playerHe would certainly be more effective CM than Ward this lad can tackle as well as run/cross/shoot
I didn't say he was. but got some aggression and a tackle in him so a better answer than WardDisagree..not a midfield player
Prefer Yates?Interesting signing if it works but not sure.
Da iawn. Diolch yn fawr, Simon Sadler!
As regards Woodburn's Welsh loyalty and affiliation - obviously borne of a strong sense of personal heritage - his self-identification as a Cymro should be respected. (I myself identify as Sandgrown and Welsh; a fact reflected by my lifelong support for both the Seasiders and Wales). Snide remarks on this thread regarding this are uncalled for and sadly divisive.
He's been brought in to play as a false 9 or wide left cutting inI didn't say he was. but got some aggression and a tackle in him so a better answer than Ward
Yes Phil I get thatHe's been brought in to play as a false 9 or wide left cutting in
I'm hoping soAnyone think the lad will get his debut today? Sometimes you just need that spark in the team and I'd be tempted to start him.
If you have 3 -4 million quid to spare he mightI do not think Woodburn has a long term future at Liverpool, so give him plenty of game time and if we look capable of promotion he might just stick around
Hope we get to see him on Tuesday .. and Kemp .. even for cameos.Think judging by Critchers comments he'll be on the bench minimum on Tuesday.
