No one has actually got a clue Blood. It's a shit show and god knows how the country will recover. People like Michelle, the people who run the Mount and who work there and supply the food and drinks etc., are facing ruin. Music venues, musicians and artists, actors and all the people who work in that industry are on their knees, and Blackpool is a town who survives on just about all the above and with an already deprived socio-economic environment. There are certainly areas around the country who are in a lot less of a bad state and numbers of infection are low, but for how long, who knows. The problem is there doesn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel and the longer this goes on the more frustrated and agitated the population becomes and that will progress to anger and unrest.
We aren't the only country this is happening to, it's happening all over the World again so there clearly isn't an easy answer. A vaccine still seems a long way off and there's no saying one will even work, we just have to hope it will.
I guess it's easy to take this personally because it has such a negative effect on individuals in such large numbers, but I don't see it as a we're in such an area and so not as worthy as another area because they are more favoured, but it seems to be something that people latch on to. There are so many variants to this it is impossible to know what to do for the best. Tiers, regional lockdowns, National lockdowns, schools/Unis open and closed you can go on and on, a bit like me now and i still can't really say what I think because it's all so difficult.
