Playing some really good stuff, I have to say Portsmouth have defended brilliantly. They look like they are hoping to smash and grab one and then defend for their life or get a goal less draw.
 
Well, that wasn't the entertaining first half I was expecting. I know we're struggling up front but Pompey have seemed to park the bus against us. We need to be more direct and maybe try having a couple of shots from outside the area. With the amount of defenders they've got behind the ball, we may get a lucky deflection.
 
Decent half that although a couple of times we looked open at the back in a way Portsmouth haven't. Will need to score first I think. No point changing just yet.
 
Enjoyed that half. We’ve had a couple of half chances & should have shot on a couple of occasions.
 
For the first time in many games I,m loving saying “we want it more!!” Great first half ,all we want is a goal , UTMP
 
Playing pretty well, good tempo and movement, had some nearly moments, but still not quite happening. Playing a good side. Defence has done well so far too. Kaikai a bit of a passenger again - get Kemp or Mitchell maybe.
 
I obviously would like Madine brough on, but I'd like Gabriel on as well. This is the perfect type of game for him, wouldn't have to do much defensively and could just bomb forward. Would offer us more than Turton is doing right now.
 
Decent first half, hope he doesn’t leave it late to change things, Yates needs some help up top
 
There's no shame in failing to break down the defence of a very good team that are playing well.
We've got the option of Madine on the bench to switch it up if needs be, hopefully before the 82nd minute.....
 
Kaikai needs to up his game on the left and CJ utilise his speed a bit more on the right. Decent first half but need to move it a bit faster in the final third and get much closer to Yates.
Really like Yates. A clever footballer fast feet and wastes very little. CJ and Kaikai need to look for him more and get MUCH closer.
 
Only one real defensive wobble & I think it was Robson when Marquis shaved the post to quote Chizzy. Otherwise excellent. When will Madine come on I wonder.
 
Need to get the ball forward quicker & for Gods sake have a shot, rather than trying to walk it into the net!!
 
Hubby is the highest rated Pool player at HT on Fotmob scoring 6.8. Lowest score is CJ with 5.9.
 
If he is going to rest Madine is Lubala not capable of playing up alongside Yates?

Not playing particularly badly just slipping into some old habits again and the front men look isolated.Ball goes in the middle and theres two small lads totally outnumbered.

Turton has been quality first half.

Anderson again good maybe not as sharp as ive seen him but his passing has been measured I thought he couldve got his shot off earlier.

Marvin handled Marquis well as the ref blew the whistle there.

That lad Marcus Harness has pace for them I remember him last season he was down the left for pompey.
