Why?Prepare for disappointment.
Are you right or leftWhy?
Neither. I consider my views to be my own and don’t subscribe to being pigeonholed in either. Are you right or left
Well you’ve definitely come to the wrong place thenNeither. I consider my views to be my own and don’t subscribe to being pigeonholed in either.
I consider it possible to have political views without being fixed to a left or right persuasion.
Prepare yourself for some replies...But I agree with your non rigid stance
Well. That’s exactly my point. On all political forums you’ll find rigid right and rigid left posters, all usually prolific posters, argumentative and no intention of changing their stance - always “right” too!Well you’ve definitely come to the wrong place then
But I agree with your non rigid stance
An honourable position Certitude. Just don't try to be fair and open minded to the left on this Board as at least a couple of your welcoming committee will be getting out the serviettes and sharpening their knives.Neither. I consider my views to be my own and don’t subscribe to being pigeonholed in either.

I don’t like football particularly.Are you a BFC fan?
Is that a euphemismA rigid stance is more difficult to maintain the older you get.
You’re meant to make suggestive innuendo to the token woman you snowflake. Jesus. This country,A rigid stance is more difficult to maintain the older you get.
Classic. "fair and open minded to the left".An honourable position Certitude. Just don't try to be fair and open minded to the left on this Board as at least a couple of your welcoming committee will be getting out the serviettes and sharpening their knives.

So then he could be Cat. Or maybe even one or two others.I don’t like football particularly.
I've grown. You’re meant to make suggestive innuendo to the token woman you snowflake. Jesus. This country,
I've grown.
I'd maybe get it of they lived in Blackpool but why on earth with the hundreds of political forums around would someone choose a football site with less than a couple of thousand members. So then he could be Cat. Or maybe even one or two others.
Classic. "fair and open minded to the left".
Why? I’ve been clear that I did a simple Google search for politics forums and this had lots of traffic so I’ve joined. I explained this to the administrator when they thought my email was spam.Weird so you choose a football forum to come on for Blackpool fans.
Sorry I smell a rat.
Nah cat isn’t fair mindedSo then he could be Cat. Or maybe even one or two others.
Sorry you’ll have to leave with immediate effect. Why? I’ve been clear that I did a simple Google search for politics forums and this had lots of traffic so I’ve joined. I explained this to the administrator when they thought my email was spam.
The forum heading is news, Covid 19, politics and AVFTT - And I can see this side of the forum is a political one. Do you have to be a football fan to be here? There’s nothing in the forum rues to say that?
Well, just raise your eyes slightly to your question to me and you'll see one of the reasons. Why? Explain.
Why? I assume you’re not being serious?Sorry you’ll have to leave with immediate effect.
No left leaning posters then? I can’t believe that, every political forum I’ve been on has a mix.Well, just raise your eyes slightly to your question to me and you'll see one of the reasons.
There are four types of poster on the politics forum here:
1. The naive (rarer than hen's teeth)
2. The eye bulgers (a fair few but not to be taken too seriously)
3. The RWNJs (right wing nut jobs), they have perfected the art of appearing intelligent on the back of a handful of brain cells, and
4. The intelligentsia: inc. one centre-right poster who believes he's God's gift to political thought and the rest are left of centre.
PS. A while back I was told off for not signifying my humour unless I did this.....
Avftt came up on a Google search for political forums.
There’s nothing in the forum rules to say that? I live in Blackpool if that helps and went to Liverpool away in the Prem and Wembley on a couple of freebee tickets with mates, but I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the game.
Because you will upset 20togo... He’s very particular about who he allows on his forum. Why? I assume you’re not being serious?
I’ve tried “dressing” the opposite way and it’s v uncomfy. Are you right or left
Obviously.... This forum is at the forefront of British political debate... We’ve virtually solved the Covid crisis between us.Avftt came up on a Google search for political forums.
Yes. 4th one down.Avftt came up on a Google search for political forums.
The middle ground shifts. The Tories and their acolytes in the Murdoch and other right wing press have shifted it so that it stands on solid Tory ground. It should belong on soft-left ground and will do once the brexiteers see the error of their ways.No left leaning posters then? I can’t believe that, every political forum I’ve been on has a mix.
I’ve had a quick browse and this forum is not different than most! It’s got the left, right, middle ground etc!
I’ve only had a quick browse to be fair. The middle ground shifts. The Tories and their acolytes in the Murdoch and other right wing press have shifted it so that it stands on solid Tory ground. It should belong on soft-left ground and will do once the brexiteers see the error of their ways.
You're not Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank are you?I don’t like football particularly.
I think it’s brilliantAnyway. Thanks for the questions and I guess, welcome by some?
What do we all think about Boris and his move to stop privatisation of the NHS ?
"His move to stop privatisation".....err I don't think so. As with all egotists he wants to centralise control back into the Cabinet. Far better that he can gift contracts to his mates from that position. Cameron/Lansleys reforms were woeful so on the surface thislooks like a move in the right direction. However....the words Johnson and trust don't belong in the same dictionary.Anyway. Thanks for the questions and I guess, welcome by some?

Well if I was that "particular" I think you'd find that there would be a good few who I wouldn't allow.Because you will upset 20togo... He’s very particular about who he allows on his forum.
He’s a good bloke is Boris if anyone can sort it he canAnyway. Thanks for the questions and I guess, welcome by some?

Thank you. I’m more Keith Floyd than Jimmy! You're not Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank are you?
Sorry, daft continuation of a football thread. Welcome from a floating voter as you put it in one of your posts.
Sorry you’ll have to leave with immediate effect.
It’s a BBC article, are you saying the BBC article is a lie?"His move to stop privatisation".....err I don't think so. As with all egotists he wants to centralise control back into the Cabinet. Well, he is positive about Britain. To me that’s a good thing, being British. He’s a good bloke is Boris if anyone can sort it he can
