Very rarely drink hot drinks, and then only chocolate/Horlicks or the like.
Used to love both tea and coffee, then about 10 years ago started to feel sick every now and again straight after a cuppa. Doctors were flummoxed so just gave up.
Still miss them though.

Tea for me, I’ve never bought into the whole coffee thing. But each to their own.

I quite like Tea , Coffee , green tea , green tea with fruit infusions , hot chocolate, ovaltine, Horlick. In fact there’s not much I don’t like where hot drinks are concerned

Tea in the morning Coffee there after unless eating then back to Tea.
So sorry td53 I'm doing a typical shadow government thing abstaining from your poll. 😁

Yorkshire tea. 2 cups in the morning before I do anything. Only ever drink tea made by me. Won't have it out.

Only time I touch coffee is in hotels or on holiday abroad. Really can't get me 'ed round why people need to walk down the street with a coffee. What the XXXX did they do before this fad?
Was only thinking the same yesterday.
Seemed every other person had a bloody costa coffee cup in there hand. Joining lycra wearing cyclists & mongy joggers carrying several water bottles as my pet hates.
Tea for me (milky coffee around 11am if I'm at home).

I never drink tea.

I have strong coffee but it can't be healthy and I have been drinking more and more of late and need to stop/reduce and start drinking more water.

I don't know why I've been drinking it more, it gives me something but I don't know what it is ?

Mostly tea, one cup of coffee when I get back from work.

Marmite or Bovril for something hot but savoury 👌

Those infusions, no thanks.

If I(we) could be arsed I'd replace the tea with a nutri bullet (I'd go for a more green veg base with seeds, Mrs, more fruit based), but tea is just faster, 2m 12 secs to be accurate (from water in to cup).

Does anyone actually like lap sang souchong?

Should have included the option for both. Poor stuff.😉
Coffee in the morning and then after midday it's tea.
I'm not making you two brews!

A nutribullet? What is this? the future? what is a nutribullet?

The fact most people are saying tea gives a good indicator of the age group of posters on AVFTT as tea is an OLD person's drink.

And moaning about carrying a coffee. Why not? It's nice. It's not a fad, it's due to the fact that we are able to get damned good coffee made to our taste these days and it's popularity means it's sold in a growing number of places on our highstreets. Now stop moaning.

I always think I've cheated the system when I order a tea in a coffee shop. It's usually half the price and thus, I win.

I'm a bit like this.

I've drank more coffee per day then ever before. It gives me something too but I don't know what. I think I've drank more because I gave up alcohol in the new year. Not forever but I wanted to see how long I can go without it. Quite easy with the pubs shut

Tea remains an iconic part of British culture, with 50 billion cups drunk a year on average,” says Hazel Detsiny, VP of marketing at Unilever UK & Ireland. Consumption is highest among 35 to 44-year-olds, of whom 17% drink a daily minimum of six cuppas. That figure falls to just 5% among 18 to 24-year-olds.1

In Waitrose, a place I used to visit pre Covid, you are out of the norm if you don't pick up a free coffee for just shopping there, then its off around town with your Waitrose coffee cup in one hand, phone in the other and children plodding along behind shouting they want a wee.

Maybe they grew up in a world where it’s not a fad but a very common thing and think nothing of it seeing as though not everybody was born in the 60s!

Mainly drink herbal/fruit teas, and very rarely will have a cup of tea. Never a coffee though, and hate it when somebody has just had a coffee and starts talking to you with coffee breath 🤮🤮..

Worst still one of our local pubs has built a temporary( presumably😳) outdoor food and drinks bar( no alcohol). Can’t believe the number of people queuing and using it every time I drive by.
Anyone would think you can’t make a cuppa or a coffee at home and probably save themselves a fortune and all out of a disposable piece of plastic or paper which probably ends up littering the streets.

Yorkshire tea for me, please. Drink at least 6 cups a day and have for years, gave up coffee as I was drinking too much and getting headaches. Might have a coffee when we are on a journey.

Love the smell of fruit teas, but the taste always disappoints

There is nothing better than tea in a mug, on the back step on a sunny morning. I would ideally accessorise it with a tab but I no longer smoke.

*bliss*

Oh, god no, it's horrible. I was so disapointed. I love a tea and thought - I'll try this, this is going to be 'tea heaven' and then it's just shit.
I always think of it when people say they like all hot drinks....it’s rank!

So teas an old persons thing, whilst Costa etc at £2-£3 a cup is for the young kids on the block cosmopolitan types....🤣
What a load of old nonsense....😎

must admit that even though a few of my mates are, I'm really not one for going into these coffee shops for a coffee to go.Seems to be a way of life for some people now.
