maxwell will rightly get the plaudits but I thought Dan Ballard was excellent tonight first and second half for different reasons.
 
Damn that was tense, some great defending and saves near the end. Also a bit of luck.

But we shouldn't sit back so much.

Great result. Good performance after 2 losses, little cutting edge but better on the ball at least for large parts.
 
I’ve taken this season with a pinch of salt, not to overjoyed when we have won or bothered when we have lost as it’s not really football.

HOWEVER.....that last 10 minutes was as nervous as I’ve felt over a game since 2012 at Wembley. Was out my chair at the final whistle. Get in lads.
 
Outstanding from the team tonight - Maxwell and Ward my stand out players - can we just get the lads back so we can rest Simms and have an option?
 
Contrary to what a few of the more negative posters blurbed in the first half, I rated that as a class performance. Gave em nothing in first half, then got on top second half with a great goal and a some fantastic saves from MOM Maxwell! A great team performance all round! Well played lads. UTMP
