To the 4,000 Blackpool fans travelling down to the Play-Off Final on Sunday: we all want to have a fantastic day out, to make our half of Wembley a wall of noise and a sea of tangerine and white despite the limited numbers, to hopefully roar the Seasiders on to another record play-off victory.
Wembley being Wembley, and with Covid protocols still in place, there are a few ‘regulations’ that you should be aware of in advance. Therefore, please read this advisory summary so as to avoid needless issues on the day:
Take a mask. You will be required to wear it. Bottled water is advisable as it could be a hot day. Flags, if taken, must be no larger than 2.5 metres. If they have poles these must be 1 metre maximum in length and of wood or plastic, no metal. Bags, if taken, should be small. Use common sense here. The Wembley regs (in common with most stadia) state A4 size! Something in the region of 23cm x 35cm might get through, anything larger probably not. All bags are liable to be searched. Musical instruments are not allowed and obviously pyrotechnics (fireworks, flares, smoke bombs etc) are banned.
*** Wembley just sent an update: programmes will only be on sale outside the stadium. And a reminder that the concessions inside the ground (food, drink but no alcohol) are contactless payment only, no cash. ***
Travel safely, maintain sensible social distancing, do the Club proud. UTMP!
