Blackpool v Fulham Official Matchday Thread 11.09.21

Absolutely brilliant performance, and more importantly for me anyway, result. Brilliant all over the pitch with plenty of options for future games too. Well done. 🧡

Very doom and gloom filled on here today, I'll reserve judgement when the games finished.
Well my reserved judgement is

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! What a tremendous performance, we're on our way, it just took a bit of bedding in.
We were the better team. MOM? Hard to choose!! Marv? Gabriel? Stewart? Wintle? Bowler? Keshi? I thnk I'll give it to the whole team!

Definitely an excellent team performance, couldn’t pick a MOTM.

We’re starting to look like last season’s team now, we’ll drilled and testament to Critch.

We played well there and got stronger as the game progressed. Fully deserved to win that.

We need to keep that level of performance up and we will be fine.

And as always every credit to the fans; outstanding today. Speaking of which; I feel a bit sorry for NC - first head coach gig in football and he's got the most dedicated and noisy fans out there - he will never get better!

Come on Blackpool!

Seems it might have been the right team selection after all. It's the first 3 points from a game and that changes perspective massively

excellent performance all round, gabriel gave us the balance we have been looking for defensively and going forward. Big MArv was epic, thought Garbutt had his best game of the season, keshi caused fulham problems, yates was busy and was constant hindrence for their central defenders, TJJ had a good game, stewart first half with Wintle i thought controlled the midfield for most of the half, even though fulham had more possession they didnt do much with it. Bowler was a bit powder puff first half, but second half came out with a mission. started to link up with gabriel quite well.

why did stewart take that free kick, 😖. his whole game seemed to fall apart after that as well. possibly a bit of tiredness creeping in. Keogh almost gifted Fulam a goal. but he didnt have a bad game. made some decent last ditch interceptions and blocks. i honestly think he disorganises the defence.

all in all first win - good day

Still got Mitchell, Connolly, James, Dale, Ward, CJ, Madine either injured or not in the squad. Just get Simms in January and we really are looking good.
