Done the same myself, really wouldn't this poster in the trenches with you. Defeatist cowards like him were locked up in the last war. He who only ever complains about Brexit then covid19 and everything about the government. Seriously if you dont like it go live somewhere else, you really wont be missed

After thinking I will have to give up on the forum after many many years mainly just watching on the old one I also activated the ignore button. It is a great addition to the AVFTT armoury and it has made my viewing so much more pleasurable. I can't understand people like him/her. If they hate the UK so much then go and live somewhere else. One of the joys of being British is that we are in the main a relaxed easy going culture and democracy. Having lived and worked around the world, there are very few places which offer so much freedom and the chance to make something of yourself as we have here in the UK
 
Dissapointing thread.Were all BFC fans theres no need for it.

Fine if you dont like somebody with different opinions then ignore them but not really any need to shout about it in the usuals packs.

Has he ever started a football thread or indeed had anything to say on a football thread? If so please advise me as I will look for it.

Very fair point Ormergod but tbf perhaps they just wanted to remind the 'less tech savvy' of the feature?

I must admit I’ve ignored 2 posters from last week. It isn’t a difference of opinion that I can’t be bothered with, it’s the absolute blindness to any other possibly and the vitriol spewed with it. A lot less stressful now as I don’t feel inclined to get embroiled with someone so utterly unprepared to take a balanced viewpoint. ☺️

I've not pressed the ignore button on anyone and I won't be doing either. Narrowing your own viewpoint is just as damaging as any perceived alternative.

If you don't have the courage of your own standpoint to win the debate then that says more about your view than anyone else's.

Fair enough that Wiz but at the end of the day we are all Pool fans is Cat?
I very much doubt it if Cat came out and said they where a Cod or Pne fan they would be given short thrift and told to GTF(not the legend!)
Not one post ever about BFC or games they have been to so what's the connection apart from political threads on a football forum?

Shall we open up the forum to all football fans who support any club so we can argue about politics on here no that would be terrible it's a BFC board FFS.
I wouldn't mind if they posted like you but it's all agenda every single O/P(read back the general the election) no wonder so many are pressing the ignore button.

It's an individual choice. If people want to ignore then they can. I'd sooner the board was football related; that would mean things are back to normal.
