Any updates on their respective injuries ? Hopefully nothing serious that will keep them out for long
I’ll be surprised if we see Lavery (Hamstring) after the international break.Any updates on their respective injuries ? Hopefully nothing serious that will keep them out for long
Lavery is the one we really dont want outI’ll be surprised if we see Lavery (Hamstring) after the international break.
Might have a chance with Maxwell/Keogh.
Lavery will be a miss certainly, but how great that we have Yates too, who I though looked much more like his old self yesterday. Hopefully Madine stays fit and I think him and Yates can keep us scoring goals.Lavery is the one we really dont want out
Yep having Yates and Madine back is a huge plus and that's when you get the best out of Jerry as proven last season when he played alongside Gary and Ellis Simms.Lavery will be a miss certainly, but how great that we have Yates too, who I though looked much more like his old self yesterday. Hopefully Madine stays fit and I think him and Yates can keep us scoring goals.
Agree he looked gutted yesterday thumping the ground he knew the extent of the injury.Lavery is the one we really dont want out
Hate to say it but we really missed Keogh after the breakI’ll be surprised if we see Lavery (Hamstring) after the international break.
Might have a chance with Maxwell/Keogh.
I think it’s the international duty that’s probably contributed to this tbh.I believe hamstrings are notoriously slow healers.
Not good news for us but got to feel sorry for Shayne missing his international matches.
He got injured on Tuesday then after treatment he appeared OK. Makes you wonder if that 'pull' is related the the quad injury. Get fit soon Max or young gun Moore will keep your shirtMust admit that I wasn't happy when Maxwell decided to play on after the first treatment.
I said that he should go off then, but he hung on and nearly gave a goal away.
He probably aggravated the injury with not going off immediately.
That’s what I thought. I’d be more worried if he was carried off. Hope it isn’t a full tearTrying to be optimistic, Lavery seemed to be walking off ok, so hopefully not a full hamstring tear.
Didn't look like it, looked like a pull. That’s what I thought. I’d be more worried if he was carried off. Hope it isn’t a full tear
I think the uproar from people around me in the South was because their big CB (I think) came across to stop him by using his weight, which sent Shayne toppling over. Earlier, Madine had been pulled up for doing the same to their CB. Another example of inconsistency from a ref I thought gave them everything in the second half, although that's partly because we were under the cosh I suppose.three key players who've been playing ever so well recently. Lavery one was strange for me. He was harrassing their defender and went down. I heard this almighty uproar from the South as it happened and thought their defender must have done something.
Husband can step in, however I prefer him at LB, if we rotate Garbutt.I think Lavery will be ok, Jerry can come in anyway.
Maxwell and Keogh are potentially bigger losses, the two leaders at the back, fingers crossed.
Not sure we are spoilt for choice at left centre back, looked decidedly shaky when Husband filled in.Appear to have good goalkeeping cover in Moore & defensively we are spoilt for choice
but the squad is a bit sparce for strikers have to hope Madine & Yates remain fit.
The only one of those three who can give us Keogh's height is Casey!Husband can step in, however I prefer him at LB, if we rotate Garbutt.
Also we have Gretarson, Connolly and Casey.
Gret with Ekpiteta would be my choice pairing, however Connollys best position is CB and we haven't seen him in it yet, he adds real attacking qualities too.
Go on Kev, live dangerously and say it.Hate to say it but we really missed Keogh after the break
No, I can't.Go on Kev, live dangerously and say it.
I’ve been asking the same question…..it appears that no one knows? What about Owen Dale. Any news on him?
