“knocking Bowler for not making the most of his dribbling is like saying Picasso was shit cos his paintings weren't realistic”If ever a game needed an overly long match blog, this was it:
We are superior: the Mighty vs THEM

Was that timed before or after the match?Quote from the Preston board:
That Blackpool side on paper is rubbish, not sure many if any would get into our best 11 (on paper) but just shows that a good manager will squeeze every last ounce out of every player he has.
And what does that matter at this moment in time?I've lost count of your failures. I know you have the worst record in the history of the game and we have the best.
Yeah but let's face it, most of us look at Picasso paintings and haven't got a clue what's going on in them. And there's never a final score when you walk out of an art gallery. I do sometimes leave feeling defeated though...“knocking Bowler for not making the most of his dribbling is like saying Picasso was shit cos his paintings weren't realistic”
Ahh Norfolk!! Don’t you know our failures are classed as character building whilst yours are just epic fails! And what does that matter at this moment in time?
We have had our highs and triumphs whilst ‘pool have had their highs and triumphs and we have had our lows and failures just as ‘pool have had their lows and failures. Or do you just disregard ‘pool’s failures and pretend they never happened?
It has to be noted that we are world champions of play offs winning and you are the world champions of failing in play offs. That matters. And what does that matter at this moment in time?

I agree that 'Big Marv' was my man of the match too.Marvin Ekpiteta should have got motm imo. Outstanding today and put himself everywhere.

Great little player is Dolan. I believe you picked him up for nothing.Congratulations chaps , excellent victory by all accounts , you can’t beat winning a proper Lancashire town derby . After beating the Rovers and PNE , you currently have the bragging rights - enjoy .
Just a word of warning , don’t show this to a PNE fan because after yesterday their cup of woe will truely runneth over and to think , they let us have this little marvel for free !
Gabriel reminds me of a very lively puppy & I say that in the nicest way, he's got energy to burn.Gabriel was awesome and his pace was definitely needed today
Doing well thanks goose. My BP wouldn't have coped with the excitement though . Take care.Hope you are well Bendit, did you come over for the game ? I’m away again so only seen them once this season becomes a pain.
I think we’re improving game by game. There’s bound to be some inconsistencies as we progress but yesterday, we looked comfortable throughout the game. I never felt that Preston would beat us at any time during the match, they were poor. The football we played the other night at Reading was sublime, especially during the second half. It’s our first season back in this league and there’s bound to be some fine margins as we improve, but improving we are.Don't want to throw too much cold water on things, but had Preston not missed that sitter in the 2nd half, the outcome could have been very different. I think Pool could be a very useful side in this division, but at the moment the jury is still out for me. as there are too many fine margins in the victories. There was a 20 minute period in the 2nd half, where the game could have been lost, and although Preston deserve some credit for giving it a go, Pool allowed it to happen by sitting back, and unnecessarily giving away possession. Lots of good things going on as well though, and we can be proud of our team. but I would like us to be good more consistently during the 90 minutes.
Mr Norfolk Black (Turkey) - childish? Of course. Oh what a night, beat the nobbers by two goals to nil, what a very special night to chill, beat the nobbers what a night.World champions? Are you sure about that?
I hope you get some good nights sleep now you can stop worrying about the game. That is for about 4 months then you will start having sleepless nights again wondering if you can do the double over us or will things have gone totally wrong and will we be on the up with a new manager and new owner?. Enjoy yourself (for now)Mr Norfolk Black (Turkey) - childish? Of course. Oh what a night, beat the nobbers by two goals to nil, what a very special night to chill, beat the nobbers what a night.

That PNE Joan or whatever she is called doesn’t half spout some Chite. They seem to have some of the worst type of fans, on the players back after a miss, on the players, manager, owner, chairman's backs after a defeat.
Can't accept defeat without having to invent some win, try and rewite history, 'Blackpool were silent until they scored' nonsense.
'They were shit'
'It was a lucky nutmeg and toe poke for the second'
Etc
The meltdowns after this loss show them up for me.
Who as a player would want to play for them when they get on their back so easily.
It's almost a shame for some of the more sensible fans who have held their hands up.
But I'm really glad for those arrogant bastards who's whole identity is built on being superior to us, this is probably why they have taken it so badly, brought down a peg or 3.
Outplayed, outclassed, out fought, out sung, sent packing.
I was impressed with Dolan too, hard to believe he was released by PKE!Congratulations chaps , excellent victory by all accounts , you can’t beat winning a proper Lancashire town derby . After beating the Rovers and PNE , you currently have the bragging rights - enjoy .

They weren't loud at all and I was in Block W. Very quiet for a derby match and not even top 3 loudest at Bloomfield Road this season. It was a genuinely pathetic attempt by them. They were overawed. It is what it is. I felt they let us down a bit to be honest with how half hearted they were.Just checked out the link to the PNE forum on here. Worth having a look - what a sad bunch of illiterate numbskulls they sound ... can't write, let alone spell, constantly fretting about how loud they were, and how they compare to Italian football firms etc. Sicko bunch of worthless losers ... honestly ... almost feel sorry for them.
Meanwhile you offloaded Nuttall on us for a club record transfer fee! Thanks Grayson!!!Congratulations chaps , excellent victory by all accounts , you can’t beat winning a proper Lancashire town derby . After beating the Rovers and PNE , you currently have the bragging rights - enjoy .
