I like the look of the line up, seems a lot more balanced.

To Neil Critchley....whether we win draw or lose today, you MUST try to go for the jugular with your best eleven every match. If we can win more than half our remaining matches, the playoffs aren't behond our reach......and we know what usually happens then. C'mon lads.

Gotta hope Madine & Lavery - an old fashioned Toshack & Keegan ploy works - need to hit the deadball line and get some decent crosses in.
 
That's about as good as we can put out, maybe Keogh for Hubby and Hubby left back. Had to have 2 strikers and we need to do that most games.
 
Big game for Bowler today, got a start there is no doubting his ability to get past players, but he has to have some end product.

We have been second best today, they are controlling midfield, Our tactics are shit, we need 2 up front and a creative midfielders, our wingers are shit, particularly on their wrong foot. We aren't any good with one up top or with 2 wingers and 2 strikers.

According to the beeb we are playing 4-3-1-2 which is just a posh way of saying 4-4-2. So whichever way we are playing 2 up front.
 
that play by Bowler just shows why being on the wrong foot means he can't cross it so he has to cut inside and the defender can deal with it. It is poor poor tactics, it doesn't work, we have 2 strikers and we need wingers who can whip the ball into them not get to the byline and have to cut back, it's a nonsense. Keshi is the same, in fact whoever plays out wide can't cross the ball on their wrong foot.

I know but really it's 4 2 4 2 up front 2 wingers and 2 defensive midfielders so we don't have enough in midfield, 2 defensive midfielders is fine but we need one in front who can control and create things.

well yes but if we had gone 4 at the back with 2 sweepers, 2 wingers and a front 4 with another one ahead or behind... I think I may have lost track of this.
