Awful performance. Key though is I think we've been too one dimensional with madine. Think we've missed beesley. As for Connelly and CJ 😟
 
I wouldn't be sorry if we sold Anderson & Maxwell and we're going to lose Bowler anyway. We have been shit today. We fucked about with the penalty and we have not looked interested at all today. I still think we need to shift several players and get more quality in to build on what has been a very good season.

Connolly is not a right back, he's been really good this season but if we want to push for the play offs he is a utility player who isn't going to play from the start that much if we have a couple of right backs and some decent central midfielders. He and CJ have been absolutely gash today.
 
Injuries meant we had no real options for sub changes to effect the game.. Lots of poor performances out there.
 
Sounds like I made the right decision not to bother as we’re away. Let’s hope we can at least muster a draw next week & hope Middlesbrough bash the Knobbers.

He did. And you obviously missed them. Al players have to track back these days. You obviously come from a time where television looked like a flick book and the players celebrated by jumping up once with their arms in the air.

Yeah, I’m sure he’ll appreciate reading it on the board too. There was a lot of our squad who didn’t have a good game today but people like you always look for a scapegoat and it’s not good behaviour. He wasn’t at his best but neither were the rest of the squad. Grow up, you’re evidently old enough to know better.
 
Been a great season, but today was a shocker. NC should be giving them a rocket - just compare the commitment Derby, a relegated side, showed compared our feckless display. Giddy rose coloured glasses off - there's no room for sentiment in football, we need a sweep out and big changes if we are to progress next season, otherwise it'll be battle for survival.

I will. Yes we were crap but this board makes me laugh. Knee-jerk reactions to each game in isolation. We have a bad game and a mass clear out is needed..we thump Brum and we are Brazil 70'.

Maybe it's because I've been watching us for over 30 years now but come on it was a meaningless game.

Look at the bigger picture folks; we have a good side and have comfortably lived with most in this division.

I still think we may find the going harder next year btw, but as long as we stay up that will do for me.

I hope he does read it

I'd be happy to tell him face to face too.

My view is that he isn't good enough, lacks composure and ideas. Today he seemed to back out of some challenges

As for striking a nerve, do give you heard a wobble you throbber. It'd take a lot more than a disagreement on a football fanzine to upset me

And bollocks to this knee jerk reaction, I call it as I see it. There wasn't one player who stood out for Blackpool today.
We have had an adequate season, with a bit of nouse we could quite comfortably finished top ten
 
Shocking all round today. Wrong team selection, wrong tactics. Nobody in the side deserves more than 4/10. Weve had a good season but that today was poor and Critch has to take alot of the blame for an insipid display.
 
Be interesting to have a list of who's out of contract - and see how many we want to keep.
In contract players will remain unless signed by another club.
 
We are terrified to shoot.

CJ is fast, but can’t cross cutting in and his first touch is a little Isiah Osborne.

Maxwell, just isn’t good enough.

Garbutt is a much better footballer tha flippers Jim Husband.
 
We were decent down the left side I thought Kirk was excellent and teamed up well with Husband and then Garbutt, but the right side was just dreadful, Connolly is not a right back and he and CJ are awful together. We need Gabriel back and another right back of quality as well as an attacking left back although Husband was my MOM before he went off injured.

It also shows how much we missed Marv, we have to keep him and not sell him. I have never been convinced by Anderson, he has some lovely touches but hasn't really got a position in the team where he actually fits, he's a luxury who if we could get decent money for then we should snatch their hands off. I have been critical of Kenny most of the season but he shines when he has a decent more forward thing midfielder next to him, he had to do it all today and I felt sorry for him. I don't know what Madine was thinking today, he had a shocker, the penalty farce was embarrassing and it's no wonder he hit such a shocking pen, I would have subbed him after that. I also don't know how Lavery gets in in front of Jerry, I have a sneaking feeling we may see Gary go in the summer and that would be a mistake. It's funny how we have looked better with Beesley up front, well done to the lad for showing what he can do. I would still like to see a pacy, aggressive striker in this summer but I think one will have to go.

It will be an interesting summer and I hope they are positive with their ins and outs, no room for sentiment, if they aren't going to feature then get them out and get better in.

Well done Derby, I thought their players and supporters were superb today, I hope they come straight back up.
