Hope you boys at the game are not passing out from the heat, the boring play being offered and copious amounts of the amber nectar. It's a night out anyways.
 
Horribly scrappy at the moment.
Maxi doesn’t seem to have many options other than a lump up the pitch.
 
Seems to like Dale too who has done well in the main - did ok too v Rangers. But why can't we get a retain more possession? They easily look our equals at the moment.
 
Annoying game, Salford completely content to just sit back and then hit us on the counter, we have no rhythm at all in passing, we'll string 2-3 passes together and then either miss place a long ball or turn it over.

Seems like no one wants to impress.
 
Why do they look better on the ball than us....

Appleton said he thinks we'd have more possession... not looking that way to me.
 
I'm enjoying it, it's a friendly on a baking hot, humid night. Positives so far' The back 4, Virtue doesn't look out of place at right back, Thorniley and Thame playing well together. Garbutt doing fine.

Midfield Ward doing well, getting stuck in, if he is fit I would give him a 1+1, Fiorini looks really good, up front Jerry, far and away the best of the front 3 but Ben doing well too. Negatives, Lavery & Dale, I never got why we spent money on Dale and if we have to lose a forward then Lavery has to be at risk.

He's having a shocker as is Dale. Fiorini is not finding his man now either after a good start. We can't carry anyone in a midfield 3 or in a front 3 and we are carrying one in each.
 
It's gash but it's a friendly.. to be expected really.

0.00000001% chance that's the lineup when we play Reading.

But what do you do when its hot? Make the ball do the work, we look awful on the ball.

We look clueless, poor touches, bad passing, little vision, poor execution.

Means were defending against a league 2 side. Wheres the quality and showing a class above?
