OT Junior School Thread

St. Cuthberts’, then St. Mary’s (got it in before secondary school thread was started)🙃
Hated having religion rammed home, utter bollux.

It’s on St George’s ave, thought you’d have known that considering you lived on Luton Road
WPC,
There was no St Teresa’s School on St George’s Avenue, in 1950. However, there was a church.
Hence my question. Where was the school.?

PS I never lived on Luton Road.

Good one Plumbs, did you know Slade played "Everyday" for the first time live at their concert at the Opera House Blackpool on April 20th 1974.

It as just a house on Luton Road, run by nuns. Very small, only 10 in my class
I went there. It was actually called Cardinal Allen although, it was affiliated to St Teresa’s.
Nuns of the Cross and Passion ran it. What a bunch of mean spirited so and so’s they were. Sister bloody Gabriel had a degree in belittling people. Truly awful bunch. They made me what I am today...an athiest!😊
I left, and went to Holy Family.

1958/59 ish. Roger Uttley (England RFU Captain) was there, but a couple of years older than me.
If you went the distance, Matesrates, you deserve a bloody medal! The only thing I got was an “A” grade in utter humiliation.

Left in 1957, I was in Newton house, we must have been pretty close. Best teacher I had was brother Stan, he was ok, as for the rest of the psychopaths 👹

Is was just Nuns when I started. Having said that, you’d be forgiven for thinking they were blokes, in drag!

The only house I was ever in, was the bloody dog house!

Psychopaths is an excellent description of the bad breathed, wimple wearing witches!🧙‍♀🧹
