Your weakest claim to fame?

Don't forget guys this threads title is the weakest claim to fame.

I never met the Queen, so there is that weak claim.

Stood next to Michael Foot in the gents at The Goat House pub in Norwood before Argyle played Palace,. many many years ago.

My daughter is a primary teacher in London. Last year, she taught Lily Allen's daughter.

This year, she was going to teach Eddie Redmayne's daughter, but she ended up going to a different school.

I should add that I was also at 'the' Barnet away with my ex and my 2 kids.
So that's 4 out if the inevitable 10k who will lay claim to also being there😁

Got Malcom Marshall’s autograph when me and gf were in Durban SA, early 90s. Very gentle guy but flirty with my gf who had no clue who he was. Still got the bar mat somewhere.
Never met him but I was a bit apprehensive treading in the footsteps of big Malc. I tried the Shane Warne flipper technique in the bedroom

My parents, who had no interest in cricket, went on holiday to Barbados in the late eighties. When I had a look at their holiday photos there were a couple of them having dinner with another couple and Malcolm Marshall. They had met a couple in the hotel who were big Hampshire cricket fans and knew MM quite well. They had invited him to have dinner with them one night. My parents had no idea who he was but saidhe was a really nice man.

I was on a camel in front of the knankies who were also on a camel, I think they call it a camel train ( or chain) in Tenerife in the eighties when they were famous,I talked to Judith chalmers in a Thomas cooks in Manchester in the eighties, my ex wife got a 1 year cinema pass for the little cinema in st Anne’s by being the 1k person to buy a ticket, we had our picture in the gazette
( not in the eighties)
I was shopping in Manchester in the eighties & saw Deirdre, Audrey & someone else from coronation street who’s name I can’t remember, all in the same day & they weren’t together
Spoke to Elton John outside the south when he could be arsed going to games , a pool fan swapped scarves with him, I’d guess it was the early eighties
Not the eighties but ex pne player Richard cresswell told me to fuck off
I did enjoy the eighties

I was walking past Ian Holloway on central car park and said in a pleasant manner "hello Ian" he just stared at me in a right miserable fashion and walked off looking disgusted.

At a 1980s party one of the other guests was Charles Gray (Ernst Stavro Blofeld in James Bond films)

I checked in behind Michael Atherton at Heathrow once; he was built like the proverbial brick s***house

Saw Saiorse Ronan on a train a couple of months ago

Oh yeh 25 yrs I was involved with some Building work at foxy Fowlers house (lancs batter) didn't meet him but his wife was fit

I was young and was visiting Aberdyfi in Wales. I asked a random stranger what the time was. He replied with do you know who I am. I was like no clue. It was Jimmy Greaves

Served Gazza,Paul Stewart & Vinny Samways food in the Nightclub Springs 1991 after we'd played Spurs in the FA Cup.
For anyone who'd ever been to Springs it had a swimming pool and Gazza pissed up decided to start throwing throwing chicken legs and chips into it. 😂

I had the pleasure of telling Kelvin Etuhu (over a period of months) who came on in the Baadiff playoff final for Boothroyd that he was 💩 in that game.
Mind you a work colleague who was a Baadiff fan also told him he was 💩 too, and a lot more than I did🤣

Took some action photos of Tiger Woods on the practice day at Lytham. My disabled nephew was receiving an electric wheelchair so I thought it would be nice to give him some signed photos of Tiger but he refused to sign them so I got Bobby Charlton who was presenting the wheelchairs to sign them instead. So my nephew who supported Manu got photos of Tiger autographed by Bobby ! 😂
Always came across as a bit of a T**T did Tiger - thanks for confirming!

I was interviewed by Sky Sports at Bloomfield Road at the Simon Sadler introduction meeting in the BFC hotel. It was shown at 11.45 pm that night on Sky Sports News and hardly anyone saw it.
I sat next to Sam Allardyce on a flight from Copenhagen. I was in the window seat so thought it best not to ask him about the 1997 season.

What was worse was that Tony Moss, secretary of the Lancashire Golf Union went and asked Tiger to sign them in the locker room and he refused. Wasn’t like I just stopped him as he was passing. Best golfer ever though, got to give him that!

I bumped into Big Sam as he was coming out of the 1st Class lounge lift at Kings Cross.

I also didn't ask him about 1997.

Just remembered, my eldest sister was born on 21/07/1969 which was the same day as the moon landings. (Yes, I know the Americans use EST but the rest of the world use UST)

The Eagle has landed and so had the stork.

Norman Hunter’s son rewired my house.
I went fishing almost every day with him on holiday in Menorca when I was 9 or 10. Norman would often turn up for an hour or two to sit and fish with us. I remember my Dad being very impressed but I didn't have a clue who he was. Also used to skateboard with Andrew Ridgely and George Michael as a kid. Andrew Ridgely's mum lived next door to my Auntie Gaina in Bushey.

Emlyn Hughes refused to sign my Blackpool programme at Stanley Park celebrity It's a knockout. Alan ball had signed it but Emlyn wouldn't leave the bar. Andy Gray who had just signed for Wolves for a record fee dragged him out physically and told him in no uncertain terms that he should sign my programme. He did.

After seeing Holloway on the telly saying he had to make a tangerine pocket square out of a pair of shorts I bought one online from the States and sent it him via the postie.
Saw him on telly regularly sporting it.

Got in a lift in Vegas when the doors opened I got in and there was hulk hogan and his daughter brook hogan.
Really late that night walking through Caesars place it was fairly quiet and turned a corner and literally bumped straight into Pamela Anderson accompanied by 2 heavies.

Just as well you both didn’t ask him about 1997. He might have thought you were Notts County fans 😀.

Met Tom Baker (Dr Who) at the Topkapi on Deansgate in Manchester in the 90s and sat eating donner kebabs together in the early hours. Lovely bloke and man mountain.
Once got in a lift with Tom in the old Lewis's store. At the time he was playing Dr Who. I said to him 'I wonder what time zone we will emerge in?' which I thought was a hilarious quip. He clearly didn't.

Tommy Garett lived in my parents flat above our house in Kenilworth Gardens whilst he was playing for Blackpool. Often had a kick about with him in our back garden. One for the older fans I think.

How on earth did you persuade Sir Cliff to serve in not just one, but all of your pubs?
