Never met him but I was a bit apprehensive treading in the footsteps of big Malc. I tried the Shane Warne flipper technique in the bedroomGot Malcom Marshall’s autograph when me and gf were in Durban SA, early 90s. Very gentle guy but flirty with my gf who had no clue who he was. Still got the bar mat somewhere.
My parents, who had no interest in cricket, went on holiday to Barbados in the late eighties. When I had a look at their holiday photos there were a couple of them having dinner with another couple and Malcolm Marshall. They had met a couple in the hotel who were big Hampshire cricket fans and knew MM quite well. They had invited him to have dinner with them one night. My parents had no idea who he was but saidhe was a really nice man.Got Malcom Marshall’s autograph when me and gf were in Durban SA, early 90s. Should have saved them for Raoul Moat.Served Gazza,Paul Stewart & Vinny Samways food in the Nightclub Springs 1991 after we'd played Spurs in the FA Cup.
For anyone who'd ever been to Springs it had a swimming pool and Gazza pissed up decided to start throwing throwing chicken legs and chips into it.
Always came across as a bit of a T**T did Tiger - thanks for confirming!Took some action photos of Tiger Woods on the practice day at Lytham. My disabled nephew was receiving an electric wheelchair so I thought it would be nice to give him some signed photos of Tiger but he refused to sign them so I got Bobby Charlton who was presenting the wheelchairs to sign them instead. So my nephew who supported Manu got photos of Tiger autographed by Bobby !
What was worse was that Tony Moss, secretary of the Lancashire Golf Union went and asked Tiger to sign them in the locker room and he refused. Wasn’t like I just stopped him as he was passing. Best golfer ever though, got to give him that!Always came across as a bit of a T**T did Tiger - thanks for confirming!
I bumped into Big Sam as he was coming out of the 1st Class lounge lift at Kings Cross.I was interviewed by Sky Sports at Bloomfield Road at the Simon Sadler introduction meeting in the BFC hotel. It was shown at 11.45 pm that night on Sky Sports News and hardly anyone saw it.
I sat next to Sam Allardyce on a flight from Copenhagen. I was in the window seat so thought it best not to ask him about the 1997 season.
I went fishing almost every day with him on holiday in Menorca when I was 9 or 10. Norman would often turn up for an hour or two to sit and fish with us. I remember my Dad being very impressed but I didn't have a clue who he was. Also used to skateboard with Andrew Ridgely and George Michael as a kid. Andrew Ridgely's mum lived next door to my Auntie Gaina in Bushey.Norman Hunter’s son rewired my house.
I distracted the guard at the station as Blackpools finest turned them aroundI was sent on a decoy van to lead the press away whilst Reg Kray attended Ronnie's funeral.
Same Tony Moss that taught at Baines ... late seventies ?What was worse was that Tony Moss, secretary of the Lancashire Golf Union went and asked Tiger to sign them in the locker room and he refused. Wasn’t like I just stopped him as he was passing. Best golfer ever though, got to give him that!
Was he R1D1....?my mum's friend's daughter went out with R2D2's son

Just as well you both didn’t ask him about 1997. He might have thought you were Notts County fans .I bumped into Big Sam as he was coming out of the 1st Class lounge lift at Kings Cross.
I also didn't ask him about 1997.
Once got in a lift with Tom in the old Lewis's store. At the time he was playing Dr Who. I said to him 'I wonder what time zone we will emerge in?' which I thought was a hilarious quip. He clearly didn't.Met Tom Baker (Dr Who) at the Topkapi on Deansgate in Manchester in the 90s and sat eating donner kebabs together in the early hours. Lovely bloke and man mountain.
Even more tenuous., Tony Moss taught me PhysicsWhat was worse was that Tony Moss, secretary of the Lancashire Golf Union went and asked Tiger to sign them in the locker room and he refused. Wasn’t like I just stopped him as he was passing. Best golfer ever though, got to give him that!
How on earth did you persuade Sir Cliff to serve in not just one, but all of your pubs?I thought we’d done this before, but if we haven’t.
My first job in St. Annes, Cliff Richard walked past, surprised how small he was, this was in 1959. Since then served in my pubs.
Denis Waterman, became a mate for a time
Prince William
Euginie and friends
