Sheffield United v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 15.10.22

Only one person who's been shit for us this half. And that is Thompson. Weak in the challenge and can't play a pass. Need husband back to at least give him some competition.

The rest of the team I would say has been outstanding other than maybe eki and Bridcutt who might have looked slightly off it. Maxwell abit questionable foe the goals as well but has also made some great saves.

Lav, Jerry, dougz, connolly and patino are all on fire.
 
Thing is Thompson knows he is making mistakes and he is letting it affect his performances. There is work to do with him when he is looking down the line. His passes are sloppy at the moment and he isnt getting his head up or reading the danger before playing the ball. He is better than he is showing at the moment. I hope the fans at the next home games can show him some love and not get on his back I think it will help him snap out of this slump he is having.
 
A bit of HT punditry on the Sheff Utd steam. Lar-de-Dar. They don't sound too sure btw

Is he under threat of being replaced bu Garbutt, maybe not, its a same as Garbutt is good going forward, if he could defend.

Then again Thompson is costing goals so what's to lose.

Bit we need hubby back to at least compete.
